If you buy this you will need to have some wiring skills it’s not a plug and play do you need your own cord similar to when you buy a garbage disposalIf you have basic wiring skills it’s a solid unit and a great price I personally have mine hooked up to a smart switch which gives me the flexibility of timer and all the functions of a smart switch this is a no-brainer work great for me long distance wire runsI will definitely buy again

This product has been install for 4 months and it no longer works. It receive appropriate input electricity but does not transform anything out, 12V 12V or 14v. My window for return ended thirty days after I purchased it and I have no return recourse. Buyer beware. 1 Star is the lowest rating I could give, would prefer no stars.Update: After being unable to return the device to Amazon I contacted the company, DEWENWILS about my failed transformer. They were great to work with, had me run some test and when I did and told them the transformer failed the test they sent me a new one. They followed up with me and made sure the new one works and is ok. It was a pleasure dealing with them. For their great service I updated the rating.

The product did exactly what I needed. It converted my 120v power into a 12v. This enabled me to switch my old 120v pool light to a 12v LED Pool light. In addition, it comes with an on and off switch circuit breaker.

Very well made. Used for a 300 Watt 12 Volt pool light. Replaced a unit that was over 35 years old. Heavy and well made. Many knockout holes for easy connections. This one has a circuit breaker on the inside of the unit that will require opening the unit in case it tripped. Nice feature - the old one did not have it.

I use this for my pool light. I have 120v run to a switch and then from the switch to this transformer. Then from the transformer to the pool light. Works great. It has 12v 13v and 14v options.

Very nice transformer. Well built and easy to wire. It's a little heavy but that's okay. Once set on the wall, it was easy to do the wiring. There is a template you can use to set the screws so when you hang the unit the process was easy.

I would have preferred a single voltage 12V toroidal transformer, but this one does the job and the connection setup is perfect with a 120V and 12V compartment, with knockouts, as well as ground connector.

Works great. We put our yard lights to this and connected it to our pool equipment so that we can control it with our phone and it works great
