Get one !
These things are great. I installed one on customers cabinet and had to get one for me. I love that you don't have a hole on a cabinet door. Great product !

A nice lock that doesn’t ruin your cabinet outside look
Decided to install lock in my custom built media console when my 1.5 yo figured out how to open it and started to peek inside. Works perfectly without having to drill any key holes and such.Regarding installation, it was a tricky one. The included manual does not have installation instructions and it took me some time to figure out how to align both pieces to match. The trick here is to use double sided tape while you’re aligning them, so you do not need to drill holes to hold them in place. First, push the smaller piece into bigger one, then tape bigger one inside so that smaller one is almost flush with the surface where the door will be. Then add double sided tape to the smaller one, peel it, close the door (thus pushing the door against the tape), then unlock the lock with NFC key and open the door. The smaller piece will stick to the door thus marking where it should be. You might need to adjust the bigger piece forward and back (unpeeling tape and sticking it again) to ensure that the lock engages properly and does not leave a hole between the cabinet and the door.

Easy to use, easy to install
I got this to lock a cabinet door to keep some stuff locked away. Overall it's great! The cards all worked right out of the box, but I reset and reprogrammed them anyway using the included instructions. I had to fabricate an additional latch so the one lock would secure both sides of the cabinet, but it was pretty easy to do. I was struggling with installation as I wanted the small locking pin on the door but then I couldn't get the card to read. I ended up moving a few things around a bit and got it working. Instead of putting the card on the face of the door, I put the card on the shelf directly above the cabinet. The reader easily worked through the 1/2 inch shelf. Now everyone thinks I'm some kind of secret agent because I use a key card to open my cabinet!

Decent little rfid lock to add to cabinets etc.
This thing has so many possibilities. I used it to put a hidden lock on a cabinet. The signal passes thru 5/8 particle wood no problem. Its a little thick but nothing rediculous. Appears to secure the door quite well. The only difficult part about it is lining up the door latch part with the lock mech hole. Well worth the cost. Comes with several cards and key fobs.Update: been using this for about a month now and love it. Works great. It's invisible so no one even knows there is a locking device in its location. Nothing to pry and no one knows where to attempt to break in to. Batteries hold up well too.

Working great after two years
I put it on a desk drawer in my office. It is very strong. It opens every time I tap it. 2 1/2 years on the original batteries. I am ordering another one as I moved my office and left it behind with my desk donated to the next business instead of removing it. I left the access cards so they can enjoy how well it has worked for me.

Wouldn’t unlock after a few months
Unfortunately mine wouldn’t unlock after a few months. It’s was on a cabinet that i rarely use and one day it just wouldn’t open. This was disappointing because I used glue when building the cabinet so getting inside was tough, but at least it was wood. I made several duplicate fobs and none worked.Until it stopped working it was awesome. I’m not going to risk it again. In fact i don’t think I’ll ever buy a powered lock again. Combination locks always work.

Quit working
Was fairly easy to set up and worked just fine until I went to install it about a week or so later and it just quit working. Changed out the batteries and that didn’t help either. I’m glad I caught it before I actually installed it or I would’ve had to trash my cabinet to get it open.

Great idea
Love this. I will buy more for grandparents house to lock up kids’ electronics at night so they go to sleep.Only thing I’d add to this is a few pieces of double sided foam tape to hold bolt side in place while mounting.I put the tape on back of bolt side after mounting lock side. I inserted bolt in to lock and closed the door. The tape stuck to the door holding the bolt in the right spot for mounting.
