IncaseHardshell Case for 13-inch MacBook Air with Retina Display Dots 2020 - Black Frost

Was in look for a case for my new Mac book air m1, much cheaper than getting apple care ! I saw few cases for half the price or even less but if you pay less in this scenario you will get less, and after spending nearly 1k in a laptop why would you get a cheap case that probably will break and end up scratching your laptop. This case is brand is well known and delivers quality , very easy to fit and remove is few simple clicks and done, no need to force it in like many other cases, I chose black colour which is perfect , it protects the front and back and the sides , not sure how well this will do for hard falls but against that just be careful and don’t drop it or get a big army style case , benefit of this in case is that it’s minimalist your laptop will still look as thin as if there wasn’t a case , it still fits in my 13inch sleeve.Highly recommend

I really think that being a cheapskate on protecting your expensive devices isn't a good option.Bought in the past several cheap one, but they ended either cracking in pieces or scratching the aluminium which is something that you are ironically trying to avoid.This case stands out from your usual 10something digit pound product with poorly designed clips that you need to force on to make it snap.Install was a breeze and no time wasted on, it just far superior.The plastic feels sturdy and solid.Would like to try the fabric one too at some point, altho is a different price point.To wrap it up, spend 20 pound more and get a decent case!

Good quality and fit, not the most robust protection but great for preventing general scratches etc.

I had originally purchased a non-branded hardcase for my Macbook Air M1 (A2337), which often say that they fit this model, didn't fit correctly on the bottom and side parts of the laptop. I was a bit reluctant in spending double the price for a hardshell but the quality and fit on incase is definitely worth it.

Purchased in February 2023, writing this review in November 2024.The case looks great, however I have been really disappointed by it. The edges of this plastic case are quite fragile. I have been very careful with my laptop and I have never dropped it. But after only having this case for a few weeks, two of small plastic 'clips' broke off from the edge of the case. These are small edges that hold the laptop in the case. I continued to use the case because the other 'clips' still held the laptop in place. But today, when I closed my laptop, I heard a crunching sound. when I opened the laptop I was really confused because I couldn't see anything which would have caused a crack. Then I found a very small piece of black plastic which had broken off from the edge of the case. When I touched the area, more small plastic pieces came off. The small piece of plastic was on the hinge and it cracked my screen when I closed it. Because the plastic is black and has a glass-like appearance, it would have been nearly impossible for me to notice that there the small piece of plastic was there. I am going to remove the case to prevent this from happening again. I am still confused about what could have caused the plastic to crack. I did not drop or hit the case, so it seems like the plastic is brittle and just cracked by itself.

Smudges very easily. Does the job.

The case fits perfectly and is good quality.

This is a great case for my new MacBook Air M1. It keeps it protected well, and was recommended to me by a friend. At the time of buying, it only came in black, so if you want something a bit brighter, then just do what I do and decorate it with stickers. Excellent purchase.
