These licorice bits. Remind me of an original breath when I was a child. It was called SenSen. I’m not sure of the spelling. If you like black licorice you’re gonna love these. I keep a container in my bedroom and my living room. Plus I have one in my car for when I need to treat myself. also, I include these on my subscribe and save from Amazon.

This product has gone completely downhill. I've been buying these for years and was always satisfied, but not anymore. The taste is off, the texture is wrong, and the flavor is just disappointing. Whatever change was made, it was a huge mistake. I'd love to hear an explanation from the manufacturer, but unless they go back to the original recipe, I’m done. I won’t be wasting my money on this again. Please look at the attached photo to see the differences.

Ever since I was a little kid I loved licorice. That was when the licorice was made of licorice. As I grew up the quality of licorice in America went down hill. I found good licorice again when I went to England and Europe. But I live here. I have some good, real licorice but it was hard to find. Then I discovered these little gems. These Barkley intense licorice pellets are the thing. The taste is indeed intense just the way I remembered it. I have a feeling that the people who didn't like the intense flavor or the lingering taste are probably much younger than my 78 years. If you like licorice and find these too intense give them a chance. You will have the opportunity to see what real licorice tastes like. Try them.

Good, but not a SenSen replacement. Other reviewers have said the same: very strong licorice flavor, small container (think a pocket box of wooden matches), fresh-tasting, slightly sweet, but I didn't get an unpleasant aftertaste. I happen to like them, but I can see how others might not like the strong licorice flavor.

I love these. I initially purchased them while looking for an equivalent product to sen-sen for my mom, who misses sen-sen since they were discontinued. These aren't quite the same, but now I'm hooked on them. They really pack a punch, and the combination of menthol and licorice really works well together. Even the kids,who think Potter's licorice/menthol bits taste like nyquil, think these are great."These don't taste like niquil, like the other ones do"- the kids

I have been trying all the licorice tins I can find. This one is what the French call "Zan" as it is just pure licorice and is very strong. Some people like Zan, but I prefer Nipits (5 stars) and Amarelli (4 stars).
