Bought this to interface my S22 Ultra with my mixing board for doing podcasts and zoom calls. The speaker plug goes into the mixer in stereo using a TRS to TR (L/R) 1/4". Output from the mixer to the mic port on this adapter. Works perfectly. If you are looking to do something like this, just know that the mic port is a TRS connection. Think of it as the same setup you would use to plug a mic or sound mix into a DSLR (mic level over the trs). One thing that drove me nuts was the automatic launching of Google Assistant EVERY time a word was uttered into the mic port. I even have that service disabled on my phone. PITA. Basically, you have to turn off any speech recognition apps, and there are many that run even though you don't allow permission for anything but the phone to access the mic. BUT most importantly, and what I think did the trick, was putting the microphone into the "Quick Panel". That's the place you go to when swiping down on the home screen to turn on Airplane mode, or mute your sounds, etc. Go to the edit function of those buttons and add the microphone icon. If you then tap it to turn the mic off, it won't even work when the phone rings and you'll have to give permission for it to access it. Doing that ensures that only the apps you want accessing your mic can do it. But yeah, the adapter is great!

Literally purchased this unit to be able to use wired headphones While running by mixing board into my phone... Karaoke app... And it works flawlessly, for the most part..... Sometimes, and I do believe this is the app and not the unit, i will get a full loop from the input to the headphones back into the inpot, but unplugging the unit from the phone and both connectors from the device and then plugging the unit back into my phone, headphones next, add microphone last, and that fixes the problem every time...... Again, I do believe this might be a bug in the app. When detecting the headset or microphone input and output, but it's simple enough to resolve. S23 ultra approved 100%

I had high expectations for this product. The headphones Port seems to work fine but the microphone does not work at all. I usually come to the product reviews before purchasing and I didn't do that with this one. so my fault on my end. I will not be buying again from this seller.

This solved my problem when I bought a new phone. I have a Rode Lavalier GO with a TRS connector. I plug that into the microphone input and my earphones into the other input, and it works perfectly for making videos. No special software needed. Sound quality is as good as expected without added noise. The DAC in this product may or may not be audiophile studio quality (not saying it isn't, but I have no way to analyze it), but the only way to get super high end is to spend over $100 for a bulky add-on. This adapter is great for my purposes.

Unlike other USB sound processors that have exceptionally low noise floors, this is only mediocre, maybe a bit better than my computer's sound card. Connected to my phone, I have even more noise, but the phone itself could be at fault. Biggest objective deficiency is the lack of stereo mic input. It outputs mono mic only.

This adapter is PERFECT. I'm using it with a USB-C enabled Samsung Galaxy A54 5G phone (no on-board headphone jack). This adapter is 99% plug & play (see NOTE below!). It comes with the TRRS adapter for mics with a TRRS 1/8" male jack. NOTE: Be sure to check your camera or audio app settings for audio source input! I use Open Camera, and an "external mic when present" must be selected. When the adapter is unplugged, the app automatically reverts back to the phone's internal mic. Your device may detect the external mic automatically. The materials are as good as it gets in this price range, with braided covering around the cables and nice strain relief at the cable-to-plug connection. Buy it!

This adapter is inexpensive and works well for the price. I needed this adapter for my Samsung Galaxy S22 smart phone with 8K Video. I discovered this adapter also work with my DJI Action 2 Camera, which only has USB-C input for audio as well 👍😃 The fact this adapter also has included socket for plugging in wired headphones for simultaneous monitoring is like the icing on the cake ! 👌👌👌👌 Money well spent ! Do not hesitate to purchase this item.

Some of the only ones of these that work properly. I did get some strange reactive problems when plugging in anything other than a headset mic, such as guitars and stuff. But it actually worked really well with line level signals for the most part. I was going to return these because one of them sometimes when you first plug it in would make terrible feedback sounds. Then I realized how much absolute junk there is on Amazon, and these became some of the only ones that have Proper sound quality kind of like the iPhones that had a headphone jack.

I use this adapter to connect my Behringer Mixer to PC. 1 Roland Piano, 1 Roland Drawbar Organ and 2 Yamaha Workstations have been connected to the mixer. And mixer main out connected to the PC by Mic line. No direct USB connection on my old mixer. I use Audacity for recording my routine practices. It works very well. Absolutely recommended.

Just purchased this today. I gave it low rating because It has a lot of annoying static when recording using a Rode microphone that works perfectly on my fuji camera. I have no idea how to get rid of the static. I may have to return it.
