Magnolia and Jagger!
Magnolia has recently moved to San Francisco for a fresh start which includes her position as a social media influencer at a new company. Things are not exactly turning out as she planned when she finds out that the company deals in credit rather than fashion but on the plus side her co-workers quickly became her friends. To top it all off she has been exchanging sarcastic letters with her new neighbor only to discover that they have a past that didn’t end well.Jagger is a man with secrets who is looking for a fresh start as well. He is just as infuriating and just as sexy as he was all those years ago, but he is also determined to show her that he is not the man she remembers and just maybe once all is revealed they can overcome the past and have the future they always wanted. This is a story about overcoming the mistakes of the past that is filled with humorous banter, hot chemistry and two flawed characters who couldn’t be more perfect for each other.

Fun love story for a quick read!
This is a fun and quick read, and I'd recommend it if you enjoy light-hearted romance with a comic tone.It could definitely use some editing for continuity purposes. There are two examples that jump to mind, but they contain SPOILERS, so don't read further if you don't want to know!1: at one point Magnolia is talking to Anna about what happened ten years ago and states twice that her note said to be ready at 8, then later Jagger says her note said 7 but ge got it mixed up and thought it said 6. This kind of thing would be a simple fix if the book was read by an editor. Plus, he says that he told their siblings to arrive at 7:15 so they'd arrive after, but didn't think to text them and change the time when he realized he got the times mixed up? I imagine he would have realized he get it confused while he was sitting in his room blindfolded for an entire hour...2: Jagger mentions Tate's name while he and Magnolia are talking about her job and she's confused because she doesn't think she ever told Jagger his name, except that literally one page before she mentions his name to Jagger while explaining the point of the app they're working on. Again, simple editing could fix this part so it makes sense. There was also almost no buildup to Jagger being involved in the business. There were no clues or hints except for blatant ones like Jane talking about how she discovered there's a "silent" investor, and Jagger commenting on Tate being a tightwad. There are so many ways his involvement in the business could have been built into the story for a more natural reveal instead of the abrupt way it happened. These are just two specific examples of what happens again and again in the book, and with a little more work put into building the story it could go from decent to great. I'm not mad I read it, and I did enjoy the story, but I wouldn't pay for books from this Author unless I knew they'd edited more and put a little more detail in to clarify and deepen their storylines.

great book
Very fun & not to much angst. I really enjoyed all the characters. I’m looking forward to reading more about these people

I weep for the potential of this story
I weep for the potential of this story. It was such a good idea but the execution was a mess.Firstly the book is much shorter than it’s listed online because a large portion of the next book is included near the end. I don’t have anything against Novelas I just want to know that that is what I’m actually reading. The story was so rushed there was no time to develop it naturally. It could’ve been a great story but it just was lackluster because of it being so short.Unfortunately, and I hate to say this about any writer because I know that they worked so hard, this writer doesn’t seem to know how to tell a story without actually using dialogue. You learn everything through somewhat awkward and abrupt dialogue between the characters. there’s no inner monologue there’s no describing the scenes it’s very straightforward and choppy conversations.I gave it three stars because the story had great potential and I hate to rate anything under three stars unless it’s truly truly awful. However I would recommend that you probably skip this one and less you’re looking for a quick read and you have nothing else in your lineup

Loved this story from beginning to end; just enough steam…
What a cleverly written story! It starts out with notes back and forth from occupants of apartments #4 and #5. They get progressively funny and a tad bit flirty. Magnolia Allen has enough on her plate what with a new job, rent being due soon, not enough money to pay it and not having had s** for 450 days and counting…But the heat level goes up quite a few notches when Magnolia meets her new neighbor, none other than a former friend from back home in New York, Kingston Jagger Scott! And, boy when we find out WHY she’s so upset about her new neighbor, things go from warm to hot, hot, HOT.So much to love about this story: the dedication by the author to her dog; the humor and playfulness among all the characters; the caring they all seem to display for each other; and lastly when he pours out his heart and all is revealed. After his revelation Ms. Cooper could have added more unnecessary angst but she chose the wise choice. She let the characters accept and forgive. I especially love when Magnolia remembers all the times that Jagger showed her kindness and sweetness when they were growing up. The ending is wonderful too. Now I can’t wait for Tate’s story.I volunteered to review an ARC of this book and it comes highly recommended for readers who like cleverly written, fast-paced romantic comedy with the sweetest ending.

cute story, quick read
I liked this story, it was cute and fun and an easy read. I feel that it could’ve done with more depth to the story and more chapters from Kingston’s pov. There’s a big chunk of the back story that would make the book so much more interesting if there had been more story from his side.

Pitiful book for a pitiful series
The characters maturity is nearer to 14-16 than 30. The office settings are unrealistic. I made the mistake to buy book 1 and 2 of the series. I recommend not to make the same mistake.

Light read with funny moments
In the beginning the story is light, bright happy kind. Magnolia and Jagger simply cannot help themselves, passion is great but past keep coming up. Around 3/4 of the story things becomes bit typical. But still ending is cute, over the moon kind.

Hilarious!
Loved the story, the characters and the banter between Magnolia and Jagger. I liked how Magnolia's circle of friends developed and they weren't already friends from the start.I found the story really interesting because we went from thinking that Magnolia and Jagger were strangers and as the story slowly unfolded we discovered that they were much more than that. My favourite part was the notes that they exchanged - OK they were quite rude but they were funny and this is fiction after all not real life.In a nutshell, it was funny, steamy, rude, twisty, and oh so romantic. If you like all of these then this book is for you.

Ridiculous
It’s a miraculous thing that I can finish this ridiculous book which the only great things came along was the few first note they share - not all of them
