Inside: Vimble One, USB cord, Color Quick Start Guide The Gimbal weights in at 7.8 ounces with the built in rechargeable battery. Is very compact. Unscrew the built in tripod and it gets even more compact. First thing I charged up the gimbal with the provided usb cord. Has a red light on the top button when not fully charged. Next I downloaded the Android app for my smart phone. (Feiyu ON) The gimbal has 3 buttons. A function button and a mode button, also a focus slider switch. Set up the gimbal to the angle you want and then extend the extension pole. Use both hands. Turn Bluetooth on your phone. Open Feiyu ON app. Enter your email. Attach phone. I had to remove my case. Connect to gimbal via Bluetooth by turning on the gimbal. (mode button HOLD it) And allow access to the app to do lots of things. :) Now you can use the gimbal with your phone. The features: Double click the Mode button and you can go between landscape and portrait orientation. (lower button) Click and hold the function button to change from photo mode or video mode. (upper button) The Focus Slider switch. It says in the manual its a focus slider and a zoom slider. If you need to record or stream and don't have a tripod, well now you do. Just open the 3 legs and your all set. Using the app brings out the shine in the gimbal. Most of the app features you will need to be doing on screen with your phone. Pros: It's a well made and simple to use smartphone gimbal with only 2 buttons and a slider switch. Tripod unscrews if you want to mount the gimbal to another tripod or just make smaller. Hitchcock Dolly Zoom was a great and unexpected feature. Way better than me trying to use the slider for zoom and get a good clip. Just set it up in the app and loved the results. Gesture Control, no need to click a button anymore. Also the gesture gives you a few seconds before it takes a photo or clip. Cons: Extension pole is a little bit short. App crashed a few times with my budget android phone. Overall This is a lightweight smartphone gimble with extras. If I had a better phone my video results would have been even better. Oh, it defaulted to 720p, change in your app settings. Hope this helps. Review: Works Great But Wont Hold a Phone in its Protective Case - The Vimble One works great. I used it for a week and here is what I learned. -- EASY BLUETOOTH: I can easily pair and control my phone using the Vimble One buttons which are very basic, take a picture or video and zoom. But that is plenty for my needs. -- GOOD STABILIZATION: The Vimble Ones turns on and begins stabilization very reliably, no fussing with turning it off and on to get it to work. It maintains horizontal very accurately and quickly. I swung that camera in a circle very quickly and the Vimble One always maintained horizontal. -- GOOD EXTENSION: The extension works very well and the metal telescoping tubes are sturdy. -- ADJUSTABLE ANGLE: The camera brackets swings 90 degrees to shoot a scene or a selfie. -- COMFORTABLE GRIP: The grip is the right size to be comfortable in my glove size large hands. The tripod legs come together to create a handle extension. -- HAS MOUNTING SOCKET: The tripod also unscrews revealing a camera threaded socket which means I can also attach it to a holder on my car while shooting moving videos. -- GOOD BATTERY LIFE: I've played with it quite a bit and impressed with the battery life. I believe their 6 hours specification. THE BAD: -- A PROBLEM WITH HOLDING A PHONE: One problem is that a Galaxy S7 when slipped into its 1/2 of a holster case will not fit in the grips. The phone by itself was fine. I prefer never to have to remove the phone from its protective case. GoPro INTEREST: It will physically hold a GoPro Hero7 when the camera is in its frame, but the gimbal is not strong enough to stabilize it. It shudders and vibrates due to weight or weight distribution. The camera isn't designed for a GoPro but it would have been great if it worked with one. I cannot hold a camera without a frame as it will slip out with the slightest bounce.

Nice value priced gimbal
This is the first gimbal I've ever tested so I don't have anything to compare it to. I received this for my review, but the price seems affordable for what it is. The gimbal is about the same size of any selfie stick but it doesn't extend as far as some non-gimbal sticks I have. It weighs about half a pound so it's fairly light to carry around also. It has a tripod that unscrews from the base if not needed, but I think it's nice to have the unit all together since I never know when I might want a distant shot. I like how the tripod is made also - using it as a hand grip isn't uncomfortable at all. Connecting to bluetooth was pretty much as expected and seems stable. The buttons are simple to start using - you pretty much just click on a button and it will take a picture or video. I felt like the product does what it claims to do and definitely helped with stabilization when walking. The battery life is plenty long at advertized 6 hours. I've never shot for 6 hours with the unit, but as long as I charge before shooting, I've never ran out of power. Since receiving this, I tested a 3 axis gimbal. My personal opinion is if you have the budget, save for a 3 axis gimbal. I carry this for backup still, but I use the 3 axis for all my video.

Need an app and if your phone has a case then
If your phone is big or has a bulky case or a pop socket forget using this product, your phone wont fit. This product need the app to get the cool feature shown in the video. The bluetooth feature wont connect directly on the phone and we have to check the bluetooth connection to connect it

Your Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus Will Not Fit
I wanted to use the Vimble One with my Galaxy S21 Plus to shoot video, unfortunately for me my phone is too long. I was able to set my phone in the Vimble One's clamp and got it balanced alright but when I powered on the device it rotated and stopped when the bottom end of my phone made contact with the Vimble One. I'm disappointed as this really feels like a quality product. I'll be returning mine and look for another device.
