Amazing mini food processor I highly recommend.
After breaking my old mini food processor I badly needed another small one for the small tasks of every day cooking. I didn't know it's nearly impossible to find a mini with the grating blade which I use a lot. I was afraid it may be too large, but Amazon is great with returns so I took a chance. I've included a photo with a mug so you can see the perfect size for a mini. Someone complained that it is hard to remove blades, that is not true at all (at least not with mine). It's true the blades are sharp (as they should be). The simplicity and safety of removing the blades for cleaning has been well thought out so there is no tugging needed. With care there is no reason a person should be cut. The first time I used it (as is normal with most small appliances) there was an odd smell due to the oils or whatever they use in making the machine. No smoke and the slight odor soon dissipated. It did an amazing job shredding two cups of cheese quickly and cleanup was a snap. It has a dial for pulsing or you can leave it run. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a small efficient food processor. It's nice not to have to drag out the big one when all I need is to chop a few vegetables or grate a small amount of cheese. But don't let the small size fool you, it's a mighty mini with two cup container.

A good food processor for smaller jobs.
This is a pretty good little unit. The main center post fits inside the bowl so you just lift the bowl up and every comes off the machine. It comes with the slicing blade and a chopping blade. Both work well and fit solidly on the center post. The parts are all of good quality. Has already proven useful for a few recipes. So why only 4 stars? If you look at the picture that chopping blade is actually two parts. The blades are on a disk that locks onto the post. That same post is used for the slicing blade. So, when cleaning, you have to put the post down, hold the ring and turn to unlock and then pull the ring up. Puts the fingers a little closer to the blades than I am comfortable with. But I haven't cut myself yet.Good little unit for small jobs.

Great little machine
I had a similar mini food processor by Proctor Silex. I had it for over ten year. A small piece came of the lid about 2 years ago and I could no longer use it. This is easy to use and easy to clean depending on what you put in the bowl.

Great Small Food Processor
Bought this because usually I am cooking for just two people and I hate dragging out my big food processor. I also like to make nut butter in small batches so it is super fresh and I don't have to refrigerate it. This little processor is very easy to use and does a great job. It actually does a better job than my large Hamilton Beach. It isn't near as loud, doesn't take up much space, is easy to clean, and is really kind of cute. Like the pour spout on the work bowl, the reversible blades to slice/shred and grind/chop. May be my favorite purchase this year.

Best tiny appliance in my kitchen
Super small And easy to store + use. I have a huge fancy Cuisinart food processor that I use once or twice a year. After a few months of regular use, this has earned a small corner of real estate in my kitchen! When company comes over, it’s easy to store in a cabinet, though, due to its size. My favorite things to do are shred cheese, mince garlic, and purée veggies! Definitely worth the price of this tiny powerhouse.

Does a great job-
I have been looking for a small food processor that had the capability to shred. Most of them slice, but were not able to shred (cheese, carrots, etc.) I like the small size as there are just two of us and it's easy to use and quick. I still have the BIG Cuisinart with all the attachments that I have probably only used 10 times! The small one is perfect when I am making salads. I am always shredding cheese for various things. I use it to chop up meat and chicken. It's perfect!

Overall, a good 'mini' processor
Product comes with two blades; the reversible slicing blade (bottom) works well and reverses easily; a paper towel holding the blade when removing is recommended (very sharp). The shredding and chopping blade (top) works to shred carrots (etc.) and slice most vegetables decently although the slices are a bit thin.Although it is rated at 500 watts the unit doesn't seem to fly through stuff quite as fast as my old KitchenAide 'mini' processor, which finally bit the dust after many (many) years of use. But that said, I can make hummus well enough with this unit, and it chops everything I've thrown at it pretty well.I would recommend it.

Piece of junk!
I purchased this small food processor because of its size. I wanted to keep it on the counter so I wont have to bring my large 11 cup processor out of storage cabinet. It worked fine for a couple of months. Then I did not use it for 5 months and now it is dead as a door nail!I saw others complain about the same thing happened to them, unfortunately I ignored my better judgement .DO NOT BUY IT! IT's not worth even one star!
