Worts perfect
It is plug and play only minor wiring hooking up the hot wire to your battery.

Good kit
Pretty good and easy installation, only had a problem with connectors tails length so it would be better to hide all connections behind the bumper, but i had to leave them in backlight space and it didn’t allow me to push light to the end. And not enough zip tights so be prepared to have one more pack.Everything works!

Know your vehicle
I watched the video on how to install the light kit. It was straight forward. However I ran into a problem because my jeep has dual exhaust and the videos were single exhaust. So it was a little challenge to get the wire fished up and around to get to battery. But it works great.

Perfect
Works perfectly and takes about an hour and a half to install. We ran to the battery under the seat instead of the front.

Does the job for a fair price
If you're not familiar with at least how to change taillight bulbs and how to tap a new ground then you should probably just have a pro do it.For those who have spent a fair amount of time on the under side of an automobile it'll be a pretty straightforward and uncomplicated install.I recommend getting some bulb grease for the connections. You're going to need wire crimpers for the battery wire at least and preferably a drill for the ground. The main issue I ran into was that the drivers side plug wires were not long enough to allow the control box to even come down under the vehicle. So the control box is actually just hanging up inside the fender void on the driver's side. Should be high enough in there so it doesn't catch too much weather or road crap. I could've spliced those 4 wires to extend them and mount the control box anywhere, but I didn't want to do that and I think it'll be fine the way it is.Other than that, the install went as intended by Curt and it makes the trailer lights work like they should. This was installed on my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 25th anniversary Sterling Edition without factory tow package. I also installed the appropriate Curt hitch receiver and that went flawlessly and only took 5 minutes.

GREAT PRODUCT. EVERYTHING AS RATED ABOVE.
HOWEVER, HAD TO BUY A NEW ONE, SOMEONE MUST HAVE FELT THE SAME WAY. THEY STOLE THE BOX I HAD MOUNTED AND BOLTED BY BREAKING THE BOX OFF AT THE MOUNTING TAB, CUTTING THE WIRES AND PULLING THE WIRE FROM THE LIGHT HOOKUP LEAVING THE BROWN WIRE BARE AND CUTTING THE REMAINDER. DIDN'T NOTICE IT UNTIL I WENT TO HOOK UP TRAILER. HAVE TO FIND A BETTER PLACE TO SECURE THE BOX. MUST HAVE KNOWN WHAT THEY WERE LOOKING FOR.

Perfect choice for my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Right after I bought my first boat, I realized that my Jeep Grand Cherokee wasn't wired to connect trailer lights to it.I called my local Jeep Dealership and got a $1090.00 quote to do it for me. That's highway robbery!I started doing my research and found the "Curt wiring harness to be exactly what I needed. I saved myself $1059 and installed it myself. The installation took less than 2 hours, thanks for the youtube video.
