Worst piece of junk I've ever seen. Looks like it was built in a frigging Chinese garage somewhere. Lousy second rate electronics that aren't worth the money. After you buy this thing for $500 bucks, be prepared to put at least $300 more into it with aftermarket electronics just to get the stupid thing to work like it should.. Customer support is a freaking joke from Taigen. Bad motor on it needed replacing as well. This tank is way overpriced for what it is.. Buy a Tamiya and you'll be better off. Stay away from Taigen unless you enjoy throwing your money down a toilet. And don't even think about calling these people on the phone. The last thing a customer wants to hear after spending $500, is, "Sorry, you'll have to send an e-mail, because we don't do phone calls. We'll get back to you in a few days." For this kind of money, I don't want to hear that.. Never again will I purchase Taigen junk.

The photos are of my brand new tank. Less than three batteries run through it, it sat with the battery off for 12 hours and spontaneously combusted due to an internal capacitor failure in the smoke unit. Damaged the battery case but the lipo did not catch fire and had voltage still after the fire burned itself out. It ruined the interior of my truck and destroyed the tank and my back seat all while powered off. Their warranty department is horrible and will not offer a resolution. This could be your house, DO NOT BUY!!

The instruction manual is fairly clear on all points of construction until you start trying to wire it for whatever version your building, Airsoft or IR. The wiring diagrams for first the turret and then the lower body are not clearly connected which leaves you figuring out what plugs where into the "old" motherboard . There is a new upgrade kit which obviously fixes the old board problems but it is unavailable. The tank itself is very realistic and finely detailed after assembling the 15.8 lbs model if the electronics worked it would be exceptional. The tech help as mentioned is by e-mail only requiring one or two days to get any information and for the cost of this model you would expect reliable phone contact with a expert in the build.

Beware buying a Taigen, they offer extra perks and when you get the tank, its not on it, bought the Tiger 1 early version from them, was told it would have the new V-3 mother board, and a new smart charger, guess what neither was in the box or on the tank. The tank just went in circles, I found one of the gear box wires wasn't plugged in to the board, the tech says it ran fine, send me a video. The wire wouldn't even reach the board, I had to reroute it to get it plugged in. The tech will not talk to you, just email, which is a joke. Very poor service, just a warning, don't expect much help after you buy it, and you may be told a few fibs along the way.

Bought this honestly from another resource. Same seller. Same price. Did not know Amazon carried it. Very nice Version of a summer camo Tiger. Lots of detail. Finish is professional. Kits to build your own Tiger are available. If you include time and many different paint colors it will cost you about the same as this tank. Maybe more. Would buy again. Also, this seller is great to deal with. Keep in mind this is a hobby Grade model. Top of the line gearbox and mother board electronics included. However, you may need to tinker with it after a while. Not a toy for young kids. Parts are available from Taigen.
