Great football kit
I’ve been using this brush and wax on my football for a while, and it really makes a difference. The brush is tough enough to get rid of dirt and scuff marks, and the wax restores the leather’s natural feel without making it sticky. It keeps the ball looking good and performing well, even after heavy use on the field. If you want your football to last longer and stay game-ready, this combo is a must-have.

Great Ball Prep Items!
I had no idea how intense the ball prep for a real leather ball would be. This really conditions it nicely and gives great tack for holding on to the ball. If you have a real ball, this is a must-have.

Best ball kit out there. If you love playing with your balls but often need a little more grip because things are a little wet and slippery, this product is for you! Not only does it improve grip to my balls, when you stroke it with the brush, my balls become nice and shiny. You would love my balls now!

Easy to use and seems to work well
I have an official NFL football I bought about 30 years ago and it has seen better days. Plenty of scratches from street pavement and, because I used to keep it in my car for convenience, it got pretty dry and lost that tacky feel. So I bought the Wilson prep kit to see if it would bring the football back to life. While it did not turn my football a rich dark brown like some I've seen pictures of on the internet, it did restore it to look about 80-90% new. It did not completely remove the scratches (they were pretty deep in a couple of spots) but it definitely made them a lot less noticeable. My one complaint is that it did not really bring back that original tacky feel as much as I'd have liked. It IS a bit tackier and easier to grip than it was in that dried out condition it was in but it wasn't as sticky as I hoped it would be. Maybe another couple of treatments will get it to be a bit more tacky. Otherwise my football is almost as good as new again.

Same as retail store.
Same product you get from the stores for a little cheaper. Footballs are super tacky after use. Nice, high quality brush included.

Brush worked great
This brush really helped break in the leather on our new football. It soften it very quickly and broke it right in.

Lifetime use & protection kit for TACK-tical break in
I've used other products in my youth to condition leather (ball gloves, footballs, etc - neatsfoot oil). I was given a beautiful leather football for Christmas (at the age of 60!) and noticed it was a bit slippery out of the box. Thanks to the wonders of you tube I came across the modern way to break in and protect leather footballs with this Wilson kit. Following the instructions with the kit and online, I now have a deeply coated darkened tack-tical leather ball. A can "palm it" with two fingers...any two where as even after rubbing the factory coating off with multiple toweling and warm rags, I still couldn't pick it up with one hand.I like the final color achieved and have applied 3 treatments after allowing a day or two between fir the wax/oils to soak into the new brushed leather and seams. The wax protects the sewn threading as well. When I'm ready to go throw, I just give the ball a few mins of brushing and the tack comes back, ready for some hail Mary's and tightrope one handers! Nothing else compares.
