The snarky wit earned it 5 stars. Seems of reasonable quality ceramic, perhaps a bit on the thin side, but I would say it is basically a standard coffee mug with quality printing of a snarky phrase. A fair question, however, would be whether leaving this coffee mug on your desk while answering colleagues potentially quasi-legal questions constitutes you holding yourself out as an attorney and could lead to a claim of Unauthorized Practice of Law (UPL). It doesn't necessarily say you took the bar (or passed), but would that be insinuated? How about if you are an attorney, but are using the mug in a state in which you are not licensed??? Best to only buy the mug if you did indeed go to law school and, even then, leave it at home while travelling.

Smelled very strongly of paint on delivery. Be sure to wash thoroughly before using. Fair to average quality mug. May be a bit small depending on how much coffee you drink, but it holds about 10oz comfortably with a small amount of room for cream. Shipping takes forever.

I ordered this cup for my dad who is a lawyer for his birthday. At the time I ordered it, it was supposed to come just in time for me to be able to give it to him for the birthday party that my grandparents house for him every year. I was gravely disappointed though the cup ended up being delayed for whatever reason. I was given an expected delivery date and it surpassed that which was awkward to have to tell my dad.However, when I did give him the gift, he did love it, and it was packaged securely in Styrofoam to help make sure it didn’t break during shipping, and that was effective.It’s a cute little gift for someone who is in a highly educated field where people are constantly trying to act like they know more than them. I think I originally found the doctor version first and I had to find a lawyer version for my dad. Great idea. Great concept shipping methods need to be improved.

This looks perfect sitting on my Hunky Hubby's desk!! A great gift for any lawyer!!!! Definitely a MUST HAVE for the office!
