Bigger and Better than the Original
We bought this to replace the original tub which cracked after 2 years of limited to use. This new bath container seems much more sturdy and the plastic is completely transparent. I appreciate the thicker lid and the grate inside the tub which helps keep the meat completely submerged.

Worth the purchase price
1. I purchased the TRIROCK Collapsible Stainless Steel Sous Vide Rack which can be taken apart so it stores inside the Anova container. 2. The Anova sous vide unit stores easily inside the container. 3. Plastic for making sous vide bags fit inside container. 4. When I reach for the container everything is in one easy to locate place. 5. Container comes with a rack to stop food from floating above water line and a lid to stop evaporation. Very convenient. 6. I'm over 70 and not very strong but the handles on each side of the container make it easy for me to lift even when full of meat and water. Very convenient. 7. Anova container is pricey. 8. Over all the Anova 12 qt container is a good grade plastic, with perfect capacity for my cooking and storage needs. I have used it at least a dozen times so I'm confident with my assessment. Recommended.

This is perfect!
The minute I unwrapped this Anova container I knew I loved it. Pure brilliance. 12 quart size is a good size for my needs. After using my Anova Sous Vide in a regular Dutch oven or stockpot, I feel quite spoiled now. No going back. No complaints what so ever regarding this product.
