As with anything purchased for cats, there is always the question of, "Will they enjoy this?"Luckily for me 2 of my 3 cats love it. They will use both shelves and gladly send it flipping over when playing like maniacs around it. (It's very light.)It feels durable, though I can't say if the netting will hold up or not. It's breathable mesh, rather than the soft fuzzy stuff.I got a larger one that supports bigger cats as all of my cats are huge. (Not fat. Just huge. One is 17 fricken pounds, the beast. Of course he doesn't touch it.)Putting it together was a bit of a pain in the kaboose. The downright hardest part was getting the rings together, as the mesh doesn't stretch, so it's hard to get them far enough apart to clip them into one another. The mesh issssss washable according to the listing, but you'd have to take the whole thing apart and fight the rings back open and fight them out of the mesh, and what I'm saying is, they are only washable if you're wildly desperate.The feet move around on a ball joint and have rubber pads on the bottom for if you have hardwood floors, or put it in a kitchen.I really like it though. Would have sucked if my cats didn't like it, but even if they didn't, it's a nice product that I feel most cats will enjoy utilizing.

I was concerned that my cats would be displeased by the change from their taller, old, fluffy hammock to this shorter, sleeker style. I changed to this because he old ones were out during a downpour and, well, mold is bad. As soon as I had one together, a cat was in it! When both were down, two cats were in them! No worries! I did take the advice of another reviewer and bought some baby receiving blankets to put in them, but those arrived after the laundry was done, so I haven't tried them yet. Right now, it doesn't seem that I need them (except that they'll be easier to clean, obviously). These were very quick and easy to put together!

Loved this bed and found it very sturdy. Unfortunately, my cats still prefer an empty box or jacket that has fallen on the floor. As a pet owner, especially cats, it is impossible to know what your pets will like until you offer it. It's so hit-and-miss. So I pass these items on to friends until it finds the right cat.

Our daughter came back from college with a cat. Due to allergies, they now live in the basement. We got this hammock bed to help the cat settle in—zero interest at first (because, cat). But a few days later, she climbed in and hasn’t looked back. She’s a bit of a fatty, too, and this thing is holding up just fine. She’s usually destructive, yet the bed is still unscathed—a clear sign it’s been deemed worthy.

A little challenging putting together but once it was done, she jumped right in. So, all worth the effort. Sturdy, good size and good quality for the price. Would recommend! 👍🐾

So I have two fatso cats, and this will not likely work for my situation:The Good:- If you have smaller or lighter cats, I think it will work fine.- Assembly is super easy and you can have it together in 10 minutes.- The packaging it comes in is super cute and has well wishes for the buyer written on it. Nice touch.The Bad:- The two beds are not very large. Not made for chunky or long cats. My cats are not interested in it because of said size.- The product has a light weight, when I put my cats in it and they immediately jumped out, it topples over. Which is a problem for when you are not there to see it fall over. It has nothing to do with balance at all, it balances fine, it just can't handle the force of a heavier cat jumping out of the top bunk.- The height was lower than expected. I measured it prior to purchase, but it is still lower than expected because of the bed sag. I wanted it to be closer to the height of my office desk/chair, so my cats would sit next to me while I work. It is not terrible, but I would have liked it to be higher.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Nice for outside, doesn’t collect water and has stayed in good shape for the month I’ve had it! Cats like balling up in it and it took about 30 seconds to assemble!
