AIRPLATE S7, Quiet Cooling Fan System 12" with Speed Control, for Home Theater AV Cabinets

Attention Tent Owners This is my third AC infinity product. I have previous purchased two ac infinity intake/outtake exhaust fans which btw are great and still in use one year later. My purchase: Ac infinity dual fan wallplate/airplate with the switch non-controller version. My application: pull cool air from the room into a 3x3 to keep the plants inside at optimal temps. Normally temps inside are acceptable at 80-82 degrees, but in flower I want to get several degrees lower to simulate fall/harvest. Why I needed it? I use an LED that at its highest settings putting off quite a bit of heat into a small space and although a great LED, too big for the space (bigger isn’t always better) so I was having difficulty dialing in temps even in my mostly automated small space. Full disclosure - I’ve purchased more than my fair share of fans over the years from amazon and other big box retailers. Some I still use, some shelved, others recycled or returned. Rather than setup a proper intake using another ac infinity intake I went ahead and tried fan after fan propped against the side of the tent with the flap open to force cool air in. Btw the inexpensive Amazon basic floor fan pushes a lot of air, but I digress. And This method works, but adds additional noise and light leakage both in and out of the tent (night/day). As you know, this is a problem and will result in confused plants or worse, herms. That said, I’m still lazy, seeking the easiest cheapest way and I’ve been so pleased with my other ac infinity products (I decided on this unit after measuring my tents side mesh window which was close enough) it was an easy decision to take a flyer on this dual fan airplate. This fits my 3x3 bottom mesh vent exceptionally well. I didn’t even have to use the included screws or zip ties that’s how snug it is. Perfect even. I simply used a boxcutter to cut out the mess in my tent and forcefully pushed the plate into place. This admittedly took some extra elbow grease, but once i got it in, I’d say its the middle cup of porridge, just right. This airplate on its highest setting I am able to keep my homes air set to 70-73 and allow for cool fresh air to enter the airplate/tent and force the hot air generated from my LED out of the top. My ac infinity outtake fan is pulling that hot air set on low with a controller (setting 2) through an oversized filter from another company to filter any smell (none) back into this spare bedroom. Added some pics. I opted to go with the non-controller version of the dual fan airplate as I have two other intake/outtake fans (ac infinity) with the controllers and thought it would be overkill. The airplate has a small switch on it with 4 settings. Off, low, medium & high. On high, it’s quiet and mostly unnoticeable and pushes enough air into tent to keep the perfect temps! Surprised me for an airplate that it was able to push as much air in as it does. Pros -perfect size for my application -quiet even on its highest setting -always on feature (using a smart app controlled outlet to turn off and on) -moves more air than expected -great engineering as usual Cons Not sure it’s a con, but it would have been better in white rather than black and without the controller I don’t know if it was possible to push even more air in on possibly higher settings. White was unavailable. That’s it, hope this helped some folks. Thank you AC Infinity

AC Infinity has always done right by me and this is no exception. I bought this fan because I installed a mini fridge in a kitchen cabinet. I had drilled out some ventilation holes but they weren't doing enough to get the fridge to work properly. I installed this fan and it did the trick. The quality of their products is second to none. Even the packaging gives you a feeling of quality and it's just cardboard. The product itself looks great and works just as described. It comes with a template to cut out any of the wall or cabinet where you are installing it. The fans run ultra quiet and are very smooth. It comes with a USB or power adapter. I opted for the power adapter to make sure that it was getting the correct amount of power to make sure that it was working as it needed to. I have the fan on high and you can't hear it at all. Moves plenty enough air for my needs. There aren't any cons to this product. The price is extremely reasonable so don't even bother looking anywhere else.

Works great just got to know what size you need and go from there. Very easy to install it’s dummy proof! Needed it because my PlayStation was getting extremely hot sense it was in a closed off cabinet. Would need to leave the doors open for air to flow but was annoying so this helped now it no longer hot at all ! Quite fan for the most part can’t complain. Money well spent. Need to make sure you get the same fan size if you get two. Also need an in and out flow. So two are a must when buying singles or doubles. The loud noise is the back thing on my Ps5. Overall great product hasn’t failed me

The fan is of high quality. The grates are flush to the flat surroundings. The unit is quite beautiful to look at. The usb plug for power is nice and long and there is a daisy chain usb plug present also. Is the fan quiet? Yes it is quiet. How quiet? Well, the fan is of high enough pitch to make an audible whirring noise in a quiet room. If your refrigerator is in the adjacent room, it would easily drown out the noise of this fan. If you are watching TV, you probably won't hear it at all. If you walk into the room in the dead of night, yes, you will most definitely hear it and it will seem loud. I am currently using this fan to cool an entertainment cabinet/built in (measures 4x4x2.5 feet tall) that houses way too much equipment. Residing in this space: moca adapter, network switch, VOIP device, cordless phone base, wireless router, cable modem, home server (4 hdd), backup device (4dd), and a htpc. I got tired of dusting my equipment and cleaning inside the computers so I am using this fan to create a positive pressure environment so that there is no dust entering the cabinet. Air only EXITS the cabinet from any cracks/holes for plugs or cables/around the cabinet door. The air ENTERING the cabinet is pulled in by the fan through a disposable filter which is held into place by the air flow and a plastic floor register type grille. Doesn't an air filter reduce the cfm of this fan? I am sure it does, but being rated at 100 cfm, this should be more than enough for my 40 cf area. Even if the fan only does 60cfm and takes a 70% efficiency hit due to the filter, the resulting 20 cfm should help change the air in my cabinet once ever 2 minutes - in a perfect scenario. So does it work? With everything idle, the cabinet is 2-3 deg F higher than room temperature. With everything on, the temperature is 10-12 degrees above room temperature. With the usual equipment on, it is about 8 degrees higher than room temperature. In summer with the room temperature around 78, I am hoping this setup with keep my cabinet under 90 degrees. One note of caution... I initially plugged this fan into the USB port of my router and found that it caused by router to reboot. I have since attached the usb/plug adapter that comes with the fan and plugged it directly into the surge protector. I have had no further issues with the router rebooting.

All you have to do is open the package to know it's a high quality product. You know how you get stuff on Amazon and it's basically loose in a box with no instructions, well this is the opposite! The box is worth saving. Haven't installed the Fan yet as my project to wall mount it to circulate air from a gas fireplace isn't ready yet. Tested it and it works very well, and very quite. Removed the faceplate because I need to paint it. It's actually a shame because it has a brushed aluminum black anodized finish which is perfect. Faceplate grills are rubber mounted to reduce noise, just another example of quality.

Super schneller Versand. Bestellt und am nächsten Tag die Ware erhalten. Zum Lüfter kann ich einfach nur sagen:"Wow!". Super verarbeitet und sehr gute Kompatibilität. Man kann ihn per USB betreiben oder mit einem AC Adapter(Im Zubehör enthalten) . Die Montage ist auch sehr easy, da auch eine Schablone dabei ist und man so den Lüfter sehr schnell verbaut hat. Lüfter sind recht ruhig(abhängig von der Geschwindigkeits Einstellung). Die Lüfterleistung ist auch völlig in Ordnung. Mehr gibts nicht zu sagen. Klare Kaufempfehlung! Weiter so.

Lo uso para refrigerar un modesto Home Lab en casa encerrado en un típico mueble de persiana de ikea. Lo instalé en un lateral del mueble sobre un orificio a medida. También hice otro agujero en el mueble es la superficie superior hacia atrás para montar una rejilla de salida de aire. Aún a bajas revoluciones este ventilador es capaz de bajar aprox. 5ºC el interior y casi sin ruido. A mayor ventilación bajaría más la temperatura a cambio de oirse más.

Extrem leiser Lüfter. Stärke verstellbar. Nutze es oberhalb eines Heizkörper. Damit wird das Schlafzimmer schnell und gleichmäßig warm.
