These worked great to fix a broken box! So much better than the husband cutting into the wall.

Works! (mostly)
I successfully repaired 2 out of 3 outlets with these. When they work, they seem to work well. Realize that due to this being a thin piece of sheet metal with no threads, these *will* damage your 6-32 attachment screws (But who cares as long as it holds, right?) In some cases you may need to go up to an 8-32, and maybe a wood thread type screw instead of a machine thread which normally is used with outlets. Also, don't crank as hard as you can to tighten the screw or you will definitely strip the screw out.The 3rd outlet was warped a bit along the top where the "teeth" of this thing are supposed to grab the plastic, and so this clip did not work, and would slip out. Not sure it's exactly the fault of this clip as I don't think the competing "G-Clip" would work either. Maybe they could use more aggressive teeth to grab hold of the box? Just realize you may run into some plastic boxes (warped ones) that this clip cannot repair. For this warped plastic outlet box, I'm going to try some screw repair gel and see if that will hold.

Fixed without Wall Damage
While replacing an outlet, the old outlet screws broke off inside the plastic mounts. I was unable to remove the screws but didn’t want to remove the whole plastic outlet box. I ripped the screws out after weakening them with a drill bit and then I put the boxdoctor over where the holes used to be. It was a thicker plastic box and a little tough to push in, but it did go over the box wall and I was able to screw in the new outlet. Looks good and functions how I expected.5 Stars because of their design flexibility, they have three lines instead of a single hole like their competition G-Clip. I bought both and G-Clip is bad with bigger box walls and only has a single hole. Definitely recommend boxdoctor due to the flexible design.

Great for repairing a broken plastic box, without tearing up the wall.
My S.O. had new countertops installed before I came into the picture. She liked them so much that she had them install the same material as a backsplash. It was way too thick for that, and the installers left the electrical boxes recessed an inch or more. To adjust, the installers used construction screws to mount the receptacles without drilling the holes out to accommodate them. When I removed the screws, the plastic boxes broke at the mounting screw hole. These were NOT easy to install, but no fault of the manufacturer. They were much easier to install than tearing out a section of the wall, replacing the box, and then repairing the drywall.I wasted one in the process of learning how to make them work. Totally worth it. Totally cool product.

Works perfect
This is an awesome product that is much easier to use than replacing the entire electrical box.

Works well once clipped
It could be extremely frustrating to clip it to your junction box, but once you make it, this product can save the day.In addition I found the screws that come with Leviton outlets are so soft that their threads strips easily going through the bolt hole. Everbilt 6-32 works quite well instead.
