So far so good
If it weren't for my back surgery I could have installed all this myself but I had to hire somebody! Dude charged me almost $900 and they were at it for almost 5 hours! Then I realized instead of running all four to a single hub they use two of the hubs so they've got extra splitters in there that I thought you didn't really need to do then they left all the wiring exposed on the roof instead of sliding it under one of the panels. He claimed the wires wouldn't reach but I don't see how that's possible. Anyway it comes with a Wi-Fi and app and it seems to work. Of course now I find out it won't actually run anything on the coach except for the 12 volt radio and the lights. You have to run a separate line to an inverter and then tap it into the coach power to use all the 110 outlets. Then of course I find out that a single lithium 12v battery won't run the coach for very long. So now I've got to invest a few hundred more in a couple more big batteries, and inverter and the necessary wiring to make it all work. He switched out the converter and it was supposedly able to fully charge a lithium battery to 14.6 volts or whatever from the shore power but it doesn't seem to actually do that so now he's got to come back and make it right. Of course I never would have known anything if it weren't for this having a Wi-Fi app you can look at every single detail of the system. What the heck everything was Black Friday marked down like 50 or 60% or more.

This works very well after you get it installed!
This was a relatively easy install from me since my travel trailer was prewired for solar. I did have to build some brackets to mount the panels on the roof. The panels generate plenty of electricity to offset my refrigerator usage. Very happy with this product and the battery minder that goes with it.

Nice product, sturdy and well made.
All the wires and hardware are inside the panels in the box. My mistake not finding them right away.

Good set up
I give it four stars because it is almost complete. No inline fuse or disconnect switch. I can't speak for the controller because I am running their dc to dc with mppt. Everything seems solid and is functioning as it should.

Unbeatable Value
These are infinitely better than expensive grid tie arrays. Easy install just plug and play. Ive actually got 700 watts up in series-parallel. My roof pitch faces east and west so I have 3 to catch the morning sun and 4 to catch the afternoon sun. Working great the voltage is about maxed out around noon in the summer but I think the mppt keeps it low enough. Got it hooked up to a 400ah battery. Powers a 6000btu window ac all day or a 500 watt space heater for several hours a day in winter. Also have a charging station and wifi it runs. Electric bill is $100 less per month. The mppt is really great. It will charge even on the cloudiest days. Very handy during 2 power outages already. For the money the value is unbeatable.

Good basic starter system.
I purchased this kit to put rooftop solar on my 16' travel trailer. It took some research on the Renogy website to figure out the wiring for proper installation, but I'm pretty handy and was able to figure it out just fine.My trailer has 2x100 amp-hour LiFePO4 batteries wired in parallel. Our electrical demands when dry-camping are not all that large. We don't have an inverter and only run the 12 volt stuff when 30amp AC power is not available. This means interior and exterior lights, water pump, heater, fans, and the propane fridge. We the most we ever run down our batteries is to about 85% state of charge by each morning. On a sunny day, we're 100% within a couple of hours and cloudy days or sites with little sun, we almost always recover fully by sundown.I did not use the included mounts for the solar panels because I was not comfortable drilling my camper roof and using well nuts (not included). Instead I used the Renogy Corner Bracket Solar Panel Roof Drill-Free Mount for RV with 3M VHB tape which works the charm. For my set-up there was plenty of wire between the panels and charge controller. However, in order to reach from the charge controller to my battery bank it was necessary to purchase some 8AWG wire as the included cables were simply too short to reach the needed distance. The bluetooth app is nice to see how the panels are performing, but it's not absolutely necessary since all the info other than the history is available on the display on the controller. Be aware you need a shunt (not included) to actually monitor state of charge. All in all I'm pretty happy with this system. We just returned from a 31 day, 4400 mile trip with our trailer and I never had to worry about my batteries at all. We always had more than enough power to do everything we need to do.

Easy to set up.
I bought this to use our camping. I already have a quiet generator, but I turn it off in the early evening so I don't bug other campers. With that said,This arrived right on time.Installation was pretty easy. I did not install on my roof, to many trees.I attached longer wiring so I could move the panels around to follow the sun.I installed a permanent connection on the outside of my trailer and made longer cords to attach the panels. and from there I contacted the controller on a cabinet right by my door for easy monitoring. I ran a dedicated circuit for my application. (I'm an electrician)The panels are heavier than expected but still easy enough to move around. The system worked without any problems. I only bought a 20ah lithium battery which worked for a few hours. I m buying a bigger battery. This system is only for running a few small items like a TV and DVD playerNote: if you do have a generator you can charge the battery with a regular battery charger if there is no sun. Like up here in the pacific northwest.I have already ordered a 100ah lithium battery and 2 more panels so I can use it for longer and more devices.I would recommend this item to everyone.
