This stuff stays stuck where you put it!
I bought a newer used car and didn't even see a small hole in the plastic part of my passenger side mirror until after I bought it. Condensation was building up and I was afraid it would eventually short out my blinker and other features inside the mirror. I waited until it dried, then put this tape on with the hope of having a waterproof seal. It works in spades! We had thunderstorms all day today and the inside of my mirror stayed bone dry. Don't use your good scissors when you cut this stuff because the adhesive will NOT come off!

Works great for temp fix
I have a BakFlip hard folding tonneau cover on the back of my truck that has a 1 1/2 inch wide rubber like gasket running the length of the cover/bed on the top. The gasket helps seal out water from where the cover snaps into the railing and helps shed water over the side of the bed. It began developing cracks and splits at the folding points. I trimmed off an oversized peice of this patch and stuck it over 2 spots on each side. So far it has held up in rain, freezing temps and opening/closing the cover multiple times. It has stayed stuck covering the split in the original material. Hopefully it will withstand the summer heat and humidity, but so far a good short term patch.

Might want to try flex seal spray if you have a bigger area
not much coverage and have had it peel off a few things. It's better than the alternative adhesive strips, but for the cost it isn't great. If you only need to seal a sliver, they are ok.

Holds well
I used on large rubber garbage cans that have animal holes. So far so good, no more teeth marks.

Waste of $9
Bought to seal a hole in a hose. Used both tape pieces provided and didn’t work. Waste of money and was really surprised it failed
