After roravatung garden and leveling, only 50% grass grew, so took the plung and got this to spread compost and soil, filled 50%compost and 50% soil, got a lovely thin layer mixed spread out covered 140 smq with 150l compost and 150l soil.Spread seeds and then spread soil, reading other reviews need to move fast with doodle top soil ended up putting down 1100L of top soil but does put a thin layer down 3 to 4 mil. Fingers cross have a lush lawn in couple of weeks.

Easy to assemble, they every provided the spanner’s which were surprisingly good quality and will be kept for other jobs.In use, the mesh empties the compost very well.Easy to roll. Catches to open are well made and easy to adjust if needed.It just works well!!Makes quick work of dressing a lawn.I’m glad I spent the extra instead of buying a cheap copy.

This is a high quality product and unlike other models, the only assembly needed is to slot in the handle. It makes light work of evenly spreading soil or compost over your lawn as part of your annual lawn care or over-seeding programme. Get one and your back will thank you.

I hate buying stuff that needs putting together before I can use it and these things always come with those little rubbish spanners as did this one but it also came with a rather nifty ratcheting 10mm spanner, that is a quality touch! It all went together in less than 5 min and is a real quality build, it’s also one of the cheapest on the market so don’t bother lookin at the others this is the best value out there

Good machine however I had to fit some chicken wire on the inside as it lets too much top soil through. Might work better with compost

At the price this is a great time saver. Whilst you are slightly limited as to the soil / top dressing you can use it is ideal for quickly spreading topsoil as either part of your lawn recovery and seeding or applying a top dressing. If you want a lighter top dress just push it faster, the slower you roll the more soil will get applied to the lawn. I used this on my own and four clients lawns and didn't have any issues When compared to using more traditional methods i.e. brushing in soil using a lawn lute etc. I found that I was over 70% faster using the Landzie.If you consider other equipment to apply top dressing that has various settings for different materials these are over a £1K so a few hundred quid and the job is done with some work arounds.Would certainly highly recommend it and be prepared to play around depending on what you are achieving, you wouldn't be disappointed.
