The kit is well made kit with top quality materials. The components are specifically designed for interconnecting different PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) using 0.1" pin pitch (2.54mm) connectors. It is important for potential customers to understand what they are getting into (see below). The male should be soldered onto the PCB. Two PCB's can be interconnected by a ribbon cable terminated with two female connectors. In this case you would need the crimping tool to crimp the cable and female connectors. This is not desirable for a hobbyist like me. The kit uses individual wires with crimped female pins as a solution which is a perfect solution for me. The #22 wire is stranded with 40 individual wires which is rare (I have not come across affordable wires as a hobbyist). Solderability is excellent which is important to me. The wires were sometimes shorter than I needed so I had to solder/bridge them with heat shrink tubing to protect the junctions. I just completed a preamp with an IR remote volume control kit with this. Extremely happy with the connector kit.

I am adding IOT tech to my 1950s Model Trains and it requires a lot of wiring. I struggle to make it neat and easy to access or repair. These connectors are good quality and easy to assemble. I like the boxed assortment very much an have used 2 thru 7 pin units. Wire quality was good and carried plenty of current my trains. I want to know now how to order refills of specific sizes. I really like this product t works and looks great. My train assemblies will be a higher caliber of finish. Thank You tell how to get refills. Dennis

I was in the middle of upgrading the bluetooth modules on a robotic car when I realized I did not have any good, reliable connectors. I tried the wire connectors one would use on a prototyping board, but they proved unreliable & inconvenient to use. I did a lot of searching & stumbled into these Elechawk connectors. Given I have several three cell LiPo batteries I could check the physical compatibility in a couple of minutes; turns out that is exactly what I needed! I will be soldering the male connector to the circuit board & expect a solid connection. Highly recommend.

Had to replace a connector on my 3d printers motherboard. The preconnected ends worked perfect, then I soldered the remaining line to it.
