I ordered and received your Mometrix Test Preparation CBET Exam Secrets Study Guide.I'm giving it a 5 rating because I can easily follow the material at my own pace.I'm so grateful to have some type of study material readily available to me for some kind of instruction and guidance for a career change. I hope to use this study guide to take the exam and start a new job in the future. Wish me luck and I'll keep you posted.

This book is a good starting place for the CBET exam. I wish it had more sample questions. The CBET exam covers so many different facets that you almost can't get enough sample questions.

Although I hardly advise against studying with this book alone, the book does covers a wide range of course subjects that could possibly come up on a real exam. My biggest problem with test taking is probably that while I can easily learn when being taught by someone who knows about the subject, I have a hard time studying or learning new material when I am on my own. Sure the book may not be for everyone, but for me I have no doubt in my mind that it will be of great help to me as I prepare to take the actual CBET examination.

The practice test exposed this book for the sham it is. More than half the questions on the practice test are impossible to answer correctly using the information the book provides. If the books can't even prepare you for its own practice test, how is it going to prepare you for the real test?Many of the questions on the practice test were absolute gibberish with no rhyme or reason, as if the person writing them barely had a grasp of the English language.At least a dozen questions, when reviewing the answers/explanations at the back of the book, had issues such as1. I pick D as the answer. The back or the book tells me "the answer is B" then goes on to explain how I was wrong for picking D because A, B, and C were wrong and D was the correct choice. Like, WTF?2. The question asks something like "which of these is a requirement of such and such?" so I pick C, but I'm thinking B and D could also be right answers. The only clearly wrong answer is A. Then the back of the book says "the correct answer is A, it is NOT required of such and such. B, C, and D are wrong because they ARE required of such and such" so clearly the question was supposed to be "which of these is NOT a requirement of such and such" and they were just lazy and/or didn't care to have this proof read.TL;DR - Useless piece of garbage that will only leave you confused and frustrated when you finish it and attempt to make sense of the practice test at the end

Very useful study guide

Great guide. It shouldn't be used as the only study source, but it is good for knowing what general areas to dive deeper into studying.
