I have been beading for over 15 years, and this is one of the most impressive books that I have ever seen.First-the book itself it printed on heavy stock with a spiral binder. Open anywhere, and it stays, which is very convenient. My copy was jammed in the mailbox. The book emerged unscathed.This book requires some previous experience. It is not a pattern book, It is a guide book. I LOVE the concept of teaching concepts. The purchase of this book includes online information. There are many photos of the works of others who have created their own designs using these concepts.I could go on and on, singing the praises of this book, but I am going to go bead now.

Surpassing all my expectations. Sharing the artwork of beading for free is a true gift. Book was not inexpensive butwhen you see the quality of beading, sharing, and presentation, you will know what a bargain you reaped. Well worththe money and a feast for your eyes and creative soul. The book wasn’t exactly what I expected (no instructions), but the photographs and projects are so beautiful! It’s possible to figure out how to reproduce some of the cuffs and bracelets, but I believe the first book is needed to get the basic beading instructions.

Kate McKinnon's books are the most exciting comment on beading I have seen in years and I just gave away over 10 beading books and still have a shelf full of beading books. The photography is spectacular. These aren't pattern books per se but inspiration books. Patterns aren't necessary. Look at the pictures, read the discussions and FLY.

Pure Eye Candy! There's no end to the design possibilities in Kate's innovative, trendy bead weaving ideas and illustrations. A must have manual for the serious bead weaving artist.

This book is nice, but I recommend have volume I first. This book is not instructional, but it is inspirational with tons of photos of unique designs from various artists around the world.

Yes, eye candy- great inspiration- but NO instructions. Do not buy if you are not an advanced seed beader.... not what I expected.

This book has very few instructions so if you are planing on making something maybe get another book
