We have a bench and chairs in the garden, which were in need of padding for our ageing bones, but we didn't want to have to go out and retrieve normal cushions if it started raining. So my wife has used unwanted dress and furnishing fabrics to form the stuffing for machined cushions which are resistant to water penetration - rainfall just runs off them, and the surface quickly dries - with the added bonuses of bright colours (to enliven the garden) and the "deposits" of the wood pigeons and collared doves living in the surrounding trees are minimal fuss to remove!

Used it to make cushions for a bench seat I built around a hot tub. Been left out in the rain of a British summer, splashed with Chlorinated water from a hot tub, yet still looks good as new after 2 months.Happy with this purchase, which doesn't happen often given that Amazon has become a clearing house for Chinese junk.Thumbs up.

It's always difficult ordering fabric online when you can't judge the weight or the feel. Being polyester I was expecting the worst but very pleased with this. It has the feel of canvas, is reasonably flexible and is waterproof/resistant AS LONG AS you use it the right way around. Hold a sample under the tap and you'll see one side forms blobs that don't penetrate but the other doesn't. I bought this to make a cushion for my young grandson to sit higher up at the table and to save my dining chairs from the inevitable food and drink fallout. I then decided to recover the seat of an odd dining chair that we use for when we've messy clothes on or for the one-yr-old's highchair attachment. Ideal and the yellow I chose is fresh and bright.

I thought I had ordered a set of 21 samples as per the head line description of 21 colours. The description on my orders page said the same. What I received was a single piece of fabric. Reading the detailed description a couple of more times I can see what it said but it is by no means obvious. The cost of recorded delivery and postage makes retuning it not worthwhile.I had hoped to compare the different colours before making a decision.I am not a happy bunny.

Perfect fabric for replacing old directors chair covers. Will be making seat pad covers too.Fast professional service only let down by the courier service, Hermes. Said they had delivered on a Friday and it actually turned up on the Saturday, which understandably caused me concern till it turned up. Whenever I hear Hermes is the courier my heart always sinks.Despite this hiccup more than happy and love the product.😊

I used this product to recover a footstool for the garden. It is very sturdy, but sewed easily on my domestic sewing machine. Excellent value for money.

Be sure that you have correctly ordered the colour you actually want - read read and read it again. I suppose it is ok but as I got a colour I did not want (yuk cream ) I binned it - too much faff to send back especially as I am being shielded so no access tot he outside world!
