ViewSonic X100-4K

The price for this 4k projector is very reasonable. The fan is barely audible and the picture is great. The manual horizontal and vertical offset adjustments are excellent as is the zoom pincushion adjustment. Very bright, even though I'm using it on energy-saving mode. In my opinion, this projector is the best buy for my money. The only problem I have is syncing my firestick to the projector.

Not a lot of good reviews for the x100-4k. I dont have much to say but so far it has a great picture. Shortly owed an Epson 5050ub and the color and black levels are very close but this projector is better with the 4k. Nice crisp images. The posers who complain about its black levels have no idea. I did not have the same pictures to compare to the 5050ub because i got rid of the projector do to the lcds not getting cooled that causes color blotches. The pictures I attached are from 2 projectors. The first being from this x100-4k shot after the video attached (noted because I changed some settings) and the other from a Benq TK800 a DLP 4k 3000 lumen lamp projector with 2000 hours of use.

So I bought a house and decided to treat myself and build a home theater. But the projector and left it in the box roughly 3 weeks into buying the home this week I was able to take it out the box mount it because I was able to mount my projection screen. I was pretty excited play ed probably a couple video games was able to watch the new movie tomorrow's war on Amazon but then that was the last thing I saw. After watching that movie a discoloration came on the screen I turned the projector off. I turn the projector on no picture. I disconnected everything did everything that the tech supports would ask we've all been through those unplug replug processes and still no picture. Now I noticed when I turn it on there's two flashes and then no picture. I guess I have to wait for tech support to call me back. On top of that I really don't think it's a true 4K projector. Most picture qualities are rated at 1080p when I go look at the info.

I like the adjustability of the projector. Pretty quick to set up. My remote has a Bluetooth button but the projector doesn't connect to my speakers or my keyboard. Some apps on the projector need a mouse. Only one USB and again no Bluetooth. Picture is good but seems to grainy for 4K. Speakers a better than most $1200 to $1500 TV's. H/K are some of the best in the business. More USBs and Bluetooth connectivity are my two big complaints.

Picture is great and is very bright. So no complaints there. My issue is the build quality of thing. It's made of fairly cheap plastic. Since mine is mounted on the ceiling, I don't expect for it to see much abuse in the upcoming years. But I kind of expect the plastic to become brittle in that time as well. Also, the dials that control the horizontal and vertical shift are VERY fragile. I ended up breaking the horizontal knob. Speaking of shifting capability ... the horizontal shift range is pretty limited. One of the main reasons why I got this projector (besides price) is the shifting feature, which should make ceiling mounting a lot easier. I wasn't as attentive when mounting the projector on my ceiling as I normally would've been, figuring I could just shift the image into the correct position. Unfortunately, the horizontal shift range ended up being too small. My final image ended up being a hair too far to the right, and that's with the shift dial turned all the way to left (hence why it's now broken ... I tried to get it go even further to the left). I suppose for a 4k projector with such stunning image at this price point, you can expect for some corners to be cut. Viewsonic obviously spent most of the production budget on making it produce the best image possible. I didn't make use of the smart features nor do I use it's built-in speaker, so I can't comment on that. Also, this thing is huge. My last projector (that this one replaced) is tiny in comparison. The size is probably so it's built-in speaker can have some bass to it.

If you're looking for a ceiling-mounted projector, this one is an excellent choice. The picture quality is outstanding for the price, and the lamp life of 30,000 hours is unparalleled. You can easily use a Google Chromecast plugged into the projector or a receiver to stream apps without any issues. As long as the size and weight are not a concern for you, this projector stands out as a top option in its class, in my opinion.

Not really bright enough for daylight viewing with windows open but with shades would be great

Low noise and low heat. I leave it on while I'm out so it's a. plus for me.

O projector faz o seu trabalho muito bem imagens vibrantes nítidas e o que está em todas as reviews relatando pretos fracos e cinzentos a minha experiência não tem sido nada parecida, a minha opinião é as pessoas deixarem de ser snobe e acharem que são experts na matéria e realmente serem justos com as críticas que fazem e serem imparciais quando falam eu falo pela minha experiência instalei o projector com uma imagem de 200 polegadas e as imagens são soberbas, se esperam um projector para terem as luzes ligadas então será melhor comprar uma tv, os projectores são desenhados para espaços escuros para conseguirem a melhor imagem possível

Il primo impatto é molto positivo. Ho avuto l’occasione di pagarlo solo 500€ e per questo prezzo sfido trovare qualcosa di altrettanto valido. Facile installazione con la possibilità di spostare l’immagine in X e Y e di correggere il trapezio. Solo un po ingombrante ma dipende dallo spazio a disposizione. Silenziosissimo non si percepisce mai la sua presenza. Anche l’audio HK é di buona qualità per chi lo volesse usare anche come semplice televisore. Luminoso e i colori dopo una breve taratura sono buoni. La scala dei grigi é ottima e anche le scene scure sono sempre dettagliate. Come primi film mi sono rivisto la trilogia del signore degli anelli e la resa é stata fantastica. Solo la parte app é un po scarsa. Forse a causa dal prodotto che è comunque da qualche anno sul mercato. Ma se lo si usa solo come proiettore direi che é un dettaglio relativo.

I'm happy with the video quality, didn't try the speakers. It is much bigger than other modern projectors, but no bulb makes it worth it especially since it's on the ceiling so space doesn't really matter. The app store appears to be empty so forget about any apps you may have read about.
