how do i know what size my dog is?

Size 0 is recommended for the following breeds: miniature dachshund, papillon, toy poodle, yorkie, and similarly sized dogs.Size 1 is recommended for the following breeds: border terrier, jack russell, cairn terrier, welsh corgi, standard dachshund, sheltie, westie, whippet, and similarly sized dogs.Size 2 is recommended for the following breeds: beagle, border collie, cockers, saluki, schnauzer, standard poodle, basenji, Welsh terrier, and similarly sized breeds.Size 3 is recommended for the following breeds: Afghan, airedale, boxer, briard, chow chow, dalmatian, doberman, greyhound, German shepherd, husky, Labrador, pointers, retrievers, setters, springers, Weimaraner, and similarly sized dogs.Size 4 is recommended for the following breeds: mastiff, clumber spaniel, giant schnauzer, Great Dane, Newfoundland, ridgeback, rottweiler, and similarly sized dogs.Size 5 is recommended for the following breeds: bloodhound, large danes, mastiffs, St. Bernard, and similarly sized dogs.

Love an answer regarding sizing - here it says s, m, l, etc but the Halti website uses numbers (1, 2 3).  How do the two match up??

XS=0, S=1, M=2, L=3.  Great product. Its the only thing I use on all my dogs.

How is this item sized? I have a 75 pound American Bulldog mix with a 20 inch neck and a large head.

How do u know what size your dog needs????

The best way is to go somewhere they sell the same or similar item and try it on. We knew what size from our previous dogs so it was easy. You can go to a place like Petsmart and try on a Halti but I would buy it on Amazon because it is a lot less in price.
