2-MIDI Cable

The are high quality MIDI cables and they are thick and very durable and the work great.

This is especially useful for use with my Zendrum in the studio, where I often need to have both MIDI In and Out cables connected for making on-the-fly changes to note mappings while testing them out in order to assemble a sound set for a composition. Given you strap on a Zendrum like a guitar, two cables connected can get tangled up pretty quickly. This cable minimizes the problem. I have other cables by Cable Matters in my studio and they have proven to be well-made and reliable. Low price, high value - why pay more?

The color coding helps tremendously. Since the colors match other cables in my setup, there's little confusion over how to position them, just use in as the same color as left, and out as the same color as right, and it will look consistent. These cables come in various lengths which has been pretty handy, and they are priced appropriate for the quality of product. I haven't had one go bad on me yet.

Quality is just okay, the plugs had a ‘top’ label which is nice but the cables are the kind that can be pulled apart and there nothing from stopping that from happening so while yes its a dual cable, it would become a single cable just with a single trip from someone. Works but not a cable you want to unpack and pack up a lot.

MIDI doesn't demand much of the cable (since it's a current loop). This one does the job like any other.

I really liked the fact that this item came as a color-coded pair. With labeling, it is easy to set up on midi devices and mixers and the throughput is high quality. Much better than the ones I used to get from a local expensive retail store we all know that recently went out of business. I highly recommend them.
