Suchtale Shaggy Bath Rug

Have been looking for over 6 months to replace my "mint green" bath mat and could only find sages and trendy shades of aquas out there. I finally found one that matches my bath decor here, a place that isn't afraid of color like most of America with all its whites and grays. The mat is a little thinner and less absorbent than I wanted (the reason I gave it 4 stars), but I'll take it to get the right color.

This is a very plush bathroom mat. The color is great. Only problem is that my 2 cats love it and I have to keep them off if it as they are using their claws on it. 🙀

I like this rug. It’s very similar to a rug I was replacing from another company due to the latex backing wearing off after many years. However, this company doesn’t seem to have a similar color. In the photo, the bottom folded rug is the light tan I was trying to match. The top rug is the Suchtale “Light Tan”. On the website it actually looks like a cream color but is much darker and grayish in person. I will keep this one but next time will try the “Sand” color. I gave it 4 stars only because of the color discrepancy.

I was very excited when this arrived. I unrolled it and it was so soft. Instantly some of the fabric came off. No big deal. Came home from work the next day and my dog had decided it was soft enough to sleep on and had dug at it as they do to get comfortable. Huge chunks gone. It CONSTANTLY sheds so be prepared to clean that up. Don't forget anything outside of the shower if you're already wet because the fabric will stick to your feet and transfer either to the bathroom floor or the bathtub floor to clog your drain. Same problem when you step on it after you've already toweled off: it remains damp for an hour at my estimation so you have to avoid stepping on it. If you hang it on the side of your bathtub after you're done then you won't have that problem, but you will otherwise. I haven't tried washing it in the washing machine yet because they're shared and that would be a DISASTER to clean if, as I predict, it will dissolve in the washing machine.Positives: Soft. Color the product image said it was going to be.

We like this small practical carpet in our bathroom. Absorbs moisture well, is convenient, safe, and easy to use. Comes wrinkled but quickly bounces back to desirable shape.
