Wide Angle Lens for Sony ZV1 ULANZI WL-1 ZV1 18mm Wide Angle/ 10X Macro 2-in-1 Additional Lens for Sony ZV1/RX100 VII Camera

The lens quality is really good but I wasn’t confident about the adhesive on the adapter. I ended up removing it all together with my thumb and index finger and replaced the adhesive with something I’ve used before that I know would work. I used this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CQ53BSWL and placed a few of them in a few strategic places. Works really well and if I ever need to remove them I don’t have to worry about paper glue residue getting in between my camera’s lenses. Great lenses, weak adhesive which should be avoided if you value your camera.

I ordered it for SONY ZV-1F and with additional ring "Fotodiox Metal Step Up Ring", that i ordered separetly. It worked and its worth it. They delivered it fast to Poland. I recommend.

Great for Sony ZV-1F when you buy the adaptive ring so you don’t have to tape the ring in this box on. Highly recommend doing that as the ring is just a couple box extra but worth it. Taking away a star because it seems like this lens has a defocus feature. I don’t particularly like this for my YT videos (BriO) but it’s nice alternative lens. $50 vs $600… no complaints lol.

I had seen this product being used before specifically for the Sony Zv-1F and decided to try it. After unboxing, the lens was practical until I realized that it did not have an adapter ring for the camera, only a double sided ring of tape. I had put on the tape and immediately you could tell that the lens was too heavy and within a second fell off. It left a sticky residue on my camera that I cant seem to wipe off. Another thing is that mine came with a glossy type of glare on the lens that disrupts my cameras overall visibility and quality. Decided to try to the macro lens but would not separate from the wide angle lens itself. Do yourself a favor and do more research before purchasing.

The media could not be loaded. The attachment lens is very heavy and can cause the adhesive to become lose over a short period of time while filming. The good thing about this lens is that it widens the shot and it isn’t fish eyed. This also takes away from the portability of the lens. The best solution would be to switch from active steady shot to standard and use catalyst browse to stabilize the footage. Keep in mind that catalyst will also cause a slight crop depending on how much you stabilize the footage. Catalyst isn’t designed for the ZV-1 but it helps if you’re filming in a well lit area. Stabilized footage in low light will look muddy.Looks wise. I have a white ZV1. The black lens does not look well with this. There is a silver option but this was on sail over the holidays.The adhesive is difficult to take off, but I think I can remove the disk by putting the lens on. Ha ha ha. Three stars because it’s actually a good product and you get a fair amount of adhesive strips.
