I’ve been using the Cafe Du Chateau Espresso Maker for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with both its performance and design. The Build & Design right out of the box, this moka pot stands out. The high-gloss finish gives it a premium look, and the transparent lid is a really nice touch, you can actually watch the brewing process, which is both satisfying and useful for timing your coffee. The construction feels sturdy and well balanced, and it’s clear that durable materials were used.On performance the brewing is simple and fast. I also love that it’s induction compatible as I have just bought an induction hob, which can be hard to find in stovetop espresso makers.Cleaning & maintenance is easy to disassemble and clean. Just rinse with warm water, and you are good to go, no complicated parts or hard to reach areas.This is a great choice if you are looking for a stylish and reliable moka pot. The window in the lid keeps falling off as one of the fixing lugs is defective. Poor quality control by the manufacturer

This is a great product producing first class coffee. Even better is the customer service provided by the supplier. I had a problem with the unit delivered and contacted the supplier to let them know. The service provided was exceptional and within a couple of days a replacement pot had been delivered. I would highly recommend not only the espresso maker but the positive customer support.

It makes the coffee as it should. the only niggling issue is that it doesn't pour from the spout as well as the 'genuine' item

Needed a new induction compatible moka. Works perfectly very happy. Love the little scooper/clip as well.

Very easy to use and the coffee tastes good.But does not filter the coffee the best, I ended up with ground coffee in my drink which is a shame.Also please be careful opening the top compartment I cut my finger!Overall good for price

I like this coffee maker. I’ve never had or used a stove top pot before so I thought I’d give one a go. This is a lovely item, quite substantial but not too heavy. It’s well made and I like the idea of a transparent lid. The handle is well shaped, to prevent over heating, but I would still suggest using a hand mitt or towel, just to be sure. As it was the first time I used it it’s still a bit hit and miss, as to how much coffee to add, but that’s for me to sort out and not a fault of the pot. Comes with a very nice coffee scoop, which can also clamp shut the coffee bag.If, like me, you’ve never had one of these before, than you won’t go wrong with this pot. It looks stylish, it makes great coffee and it’s easy to keep clean. Also, it did not discolour when subjected to the gas flame.Recommended seller. Thank you

I bought this as it specifically said it was for induction hobs.Nicely packaged and made it came with a metal coffee scoop that’s also a coffee bag clip. However, it wouldn’t work on my induction hob so I had to send it back, that’s why I give a low score.It’ll work on electric and gas and would be fine. I went on to source another moka pot that’s got a stainless steel base, so does work on induction.
