Good semi-waterproof socks
I wore these in the Boundary Waters in northern Minnesota after first testing them at home in the bathtub. For me, if I were rating them on being waterproof socks, I would have to go 1 star. My feet were soaking wet every time I took these off. However, I liked them nonetheless. Unlike Wool Socks, these dried out quite quickly and better than wool socks they kept my feet warm and comfortable despite being wet. I would liken these to a wetsuit for your feets. One of the days I was out, it was 40 degrees out. These socks made life bearable.Other thoughts:I wound up buying some ultra-thin and light liners to wear with these. This was due to personal comfort. For me, these felt a bit too much like neoprene for my liking and the added layer of liner made them much more comfortable. Realistically, unless you wear plastic or rubber bags on your feet, I doubt you are ever gonna get waterproof socks. That said, if you are in light water situations (not wading in rivers and lakes like I was) then these might work perfectly. Sustained water exposure leads to wet feet, but the socks retain warmth wonderfully, so I am happy with my purchase.

3 days in the rain bike camping = dry, warm feet!
Wow! These socks perform just as advertised. I did a 3 day bike camping trip on Pine Creek in PA over the last weekend and it rained every day - heavily at times - with temperatures only in the mid 50's. The trail was saturated and camp was soaked but these socks kept my feet dry and warm for 3 days straight under a pair of open Keen cycling sandals. I can HIGHLY recommend them!

WANT DRT FEET.. GET THESE....!!
Great socks... comfortable, almost feels like wearing a regular sock. I use them when fishing in my bro-in-laws boat, whenever we pull to shore to take a break I'm the guy who jumps out and pulls the boat up to shore so my feet always get wet. Just last week we went fishing and got in and out of the boat two times wearing my tennis shoes as usual and my feet stayed dry and warm. GREAT PRODUCT...!!! They do run a bit small though, I wear a 12 so I got the larger ones that go from 12 to 14 I think it is and they fit perfect. If you wear a 12 and you get the size that fits 10-12 they might be a bit tight.

good fit
They help protect my feet against the cold, if the temp is 8 degrees or higher but not when it is -3 or colder, which is what I was hoping for. Living in AK where the winter temps can be in the negative frequently, I was hoping these would allow me to run at those temps but not really.

Really works!
The fit is a little weird but they work! I was sceptical when I first got them, but I immediately put them on and sprayed them with the hose for a solid minute and they work! My friends love to try and get them wet by pouring their water bottles on my socks, but the water just runs off. Definitely worth it.

For a skinny foot
Seems like it’s a really good sock. I needed them for my dad, who is elderly. He will walk outside without shoes on and get his feet soaked. The feel of them are great and they seem like they would work. But you have to have a super skinny foot. The socks are to tight to get on his feet. So unfortunately they didn’t work for us.

Waterproof for sure
They definitely are waterproof. I used them for clamming in the ocean. I got water in my boots but did not realize it until after I took the boot off! I also tried them as a winter sock for cycling, but they didn't keep me warm enough. Nonetheless, I would get them again, because they perform as described.

They seem expensive until you spend your first day without wet feet. Then they are a must have.
I have triple wide feet and as expected they seem tight at the widest part, but not noticeable hiking. They are a little thicker than normal socks but not much more. Very comfortable and formed, but no right and left. I used them on a 20 degree hike of maybe 5 miles and with another pair of hiking socks under them they were warm and dry without sweat. I used them all day in 50 degree wet weather in wet tennis shoes and though cool from the wet shoes, my feet were dry and comfortable. I'm going to buy another pair and make a 10 day March hike in them in lightweight, non waterproof cheap hiking shoes. They should do better than my waterproof boots which aren't and save a lot of weight on my feet.
