I did my research before buying and here are my thoughts
It a great product I got mine for $150 refurbished. Looks like it was new or that Neato replace the whole out layer it looked brand new not even a scratch. It cleans good on floor and carpet how even you’ll have to the edges your self. I just broom any trash out of the edge into the vacuum path. It does great with our Golden Retriever hair and keeps the floor clean but does pretty bad with Human hair longer then 7 inches. I did plenty of Research before buying this product and quite frankly happy with it

neato vacuum
I have no problem so far with the neato vacuum. I've only had it for a short time, but it is doing what I expected it to do, which is to lighten my cleaning time. You also have to keep in mind its a refurbished vacuum, now keeping this in mind, I have found this one to be better than a new one/ones I've owned in the past. Now customer service is a whole lotta slow, when it should'nt be, but I also realize people suck. All in all I would/will buy another vacuum from you.

Works great, no need to buy the more expensive one
Unless you really really want a side brush, there is really no reason to buy a newer model. This one works great with no go lines and it comes with the magnetic strip, which I used to keep it from going down the stairs.

D-shape makes it inferior to round robo-vacs, does not clean well along edges
I wanted to like this, from the great suction power to the cute wiggle it does when backing into its charger. However, it does not clean well along edges. I was hoping it would do like the Samsung robovacs: go against an edge. Instead, it just runs along an edge, and behaves like it's got side brushes (which it does not, more advanced Neato models do): it goes along the edge about 3-4 inches away from it. Perhaps when they retro-fitted the mapping firmware to this model they forgot it doesn't have side brushes like the more expensive models? Also, in a cluttered environment, it has a tough time turning around if it backed itself between two objects.

Works Great!!
I had an older Neato which I purchased 5 years ago. It now runs on my second level. It was refurbished and I had good luck with it so I thought I would try this one. First run seemed short on battery life. I've run it 4 or 5 times now and it's up to the 60 min. It's quieter then my old XV-11. I'm sure the D4+ are even quieter but for less then $170, I think this is a bargain. The Gentle navigation options is really nice. no more banging against things and it no longer moves my shoes everywhere. it seems to do a pretty good job cleaning.

Just okay with some issues.
Some things it does well, some things poorly. There is no on robot controls other than on off. Settings and control is via an app and wifi which would be ok if connectivity was not sometimes iffy. I have not yet been able to get the zone restriction mapping feature to work. The biggest issue is the unit often becomes confused about getting back to the charging unit at the end of battery power. My phone gets a message... please return me to the base. On the plus side it vaccums well with adequate cleaning power. It picks up a lot of miscellaneous dirt and debris. It is just okay overall with some annoying behaviour and navigation failures.

My new low-budget bestfriend
I love my refurbished neato. He’s so cute and he works hard to pick up dust. Considering I no longer have to broom every other day is so awesome! Don’t expect him to get every nook and cranny because of his design limitations (which is typical of any vacuum robot), but he will make main areas look pretty clean to the eye.

Lasted less than a week.
Started out great, vacuum cleans well and did what it was supposed to. Occasionally though I had errors that said "Reboot Robot" and the vacuum would die. I would reboot and had to start over on the cleaning process again. Then in a few days it said "Reboot Robot" which I did but it never came back. Would not work again. Now this was refurbished so that may have something to do with it. I liked it enough that I ordered a NEW one to see what happens, hopefully the new one will work properly.UPDATE: Received the new robot. First out of the box it needed a firmware update. Firmware would not update giving a "Server or File error" every time. Called customer support and they told me I need to download firmware onto a flash drive, purchase an OTG cable, and load with that. I cry BS!! Obviously these people don't know what they are doing and make a horrible vacuum. I'm returning it and am going to try something completely different.UPDATE AGAIN: Bot was working by manually starting it, but in the middle of a room it just stopped and turned off. Will not power on at all now. This second bot didn't even last a week. Had to get extremely angry with Customer Service to even get them to listen to me. Now they want to send me another vacuum..... stay tunedFINAL UPDATE - Tired of waiting for another vac that will not work. Am going to abandon Neato and have purchased a Roomba i7+. Hopefully this will be the end of the drama and I can just vacuum my floors.DO NOT BUY NEATO PRODUCTS!!
