Nice sturdy brush , rinses off nicely & dries quickly. Not too stiff or too soft.

This is a great, inexpensive back scrubber. The brush quality is great, it’s not overly rough and lathers up nicely.

I was really hoping for a firmer brush. I mean, it works but I like to feel like I have exfoliated my back after I use my back brush. I do love that it came with hooks for the shower!

I've been using a Straight Back brush for quite a few years now. its a Game changer. Highly recommend getting one & using it. The one i've been using i got at the grocery store. Been Very happy with it. it's Straight, Flat Handle & Firm bristles. Great for a Man's back that needs a Good scrubbing. This one - 1) Has a curved handle - not a fan. 2) Round Handle - i prefer Flat. Flat handle also allows it to store in the soap dish grab handle in a standard tub / shower combo. This Round handle is too big. 3) Bristles - are a little too soft for Me.

After reading some of the other reviews I decided to take a chance and buy this brush. My previous back brush had fairly stiff bristles and using it felt pretty abrasive, especially toward my sides. This brush has enough stiffness to feel stimulating when applying light pressure, but when you increase the handle pressure the outer rows spread out, and rub the softer bristles on your skin. By varying the handle pressure you get a foaming and scrubbing combination that works well in the shower. The handle length is perfect for me at 5”10” and the curve is just right to match the back’s curve so you don’t miss any areas. The silicone grip works well to prevent slipping when wet. I picked a lighter color to conceal any hard water deposits in the future. The only down-side for me is that it’s ANOTHER item manufactured in China, but I’m keeping it.

Preferences vary on the perfect shower back brush. What is too soft for some is too firm for others. This brush combines the best of both choices with soft bristles in the middle surrounded by a row of firmer bristles. The overall feel is "medium soft" - PERFECT for me! I feel I am getting my back clean without the painful torture device feel of stiffer brushes. Some want a short handle, some want a longer handle. I find that the longer the handle is, the further it reaches, but the harder it is to control. This handle is long enough for me to reach my entire back, half reaching down from the shoulders and half reaching up from the waist. The grip material on the handle keeps it from twisting with wet hands but it is still a little slippery with soapy hands. The "grip ridges" circle the handle, it may be easier to keep from slipping if the "grip ridges" ran parallel with the handle or even spiraled the handle. I recommend rinsing the soap off your hand prior to grasping the handle. A color matching adhesive hook is included, but is not very well thought out and may not stay attached to the wall. The thickness of the brush does not fit the hook well. I would like to see more color choices. The current choices are basically "feminine colors". Guys need to keep their back clean too!
