We bought this for our son and he loves it every time we turn it on. He loves to look at the train going around. This was a little complicated to install because it took some time and it is loud. But other than that, I would say its a pretty good fit to the tree.

The train set is pretty well made with the fancy water mist to spew out like smoke and the passenger compartment has lights. It goes full round oval track or figure 8. Wonderful to keep and look at like a moving decoration. Only thing not so good are the cardboard decoration cutouts , they don't stand well.

Two thoughts about this toy: it was an absolutely adorable accent to my already strange tree, and what a hunk of plastic junk...To explain, I actually loved it on my tree and got some compliments on it, but I guess to be light enough to hang mid-tree it has to be totally hollow plastic. I mean that this thing is so fragile I thought I would break it in both assembly and disassembly so I worked it really slowly. I also never turned it on because I was afraid that if it fell it would shatter... It even comes with extra parts as if it knows it's going to break.But again, I still loved it and plan to put it up again next year for as long as it holds together. I just wish it was a little more durable.

It looks great in the tree but took a minute to in the tree correctly. Only wish it was a way to turn down or off the sound, can be a little loud at times

It was missing a piece but went together decently with the piece missing (thank goodness, since we put it on the tree in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve). The kids faces in the morning were PRICELESS. Our son loves trains and he loved the train on the tree more than any present he got. And it's so cool that it can attach *in* the tree.However. It is loud. It's not just kind of loud. It's SUPER DUPER OBNOXIOUSLY RIDICULOUSLY UNECCESARILY loud. There is no volume button. At approximately 12:47am on Christmas Eve, or technically Christmas morning, we almost woke the entire house. With my husband's quick thinking (just kidding, it was me) we put a piece of duct tape over the sound opening which did help. But it only brought it down to a level of bearably obnoxious. Not barely - bearably. What this meant was we had to turn it on right before the kids came out Christmas morning, and once they were done looking at it we had to turn it off for the rest of the morning because no one would be able to hear anything else over the train. This was sad.Was it worth it for the look on my son's face? You bet. Would it have been 1000x better if we could have left it on? Yes.To the company that makes this train: I would pay more for this if it had volume control, or even just a volume on/off switch. It's an awesome idea and we loved everything else about it. We will use it again next year - but if you come out with one that has a volume button, I will absolutely buy that one and you will make parents and half-deaf grandparents very happy.

This thing is almost laughably terrible. The assembly instructions are very unclear, parts aren’t labeled or labeled incorrectly, it’s SO FLIMSY that I actually had to end up using tape to stabilize the clamp and the train sounds like it’s got dying batteries with brand new batteries put in. It’s suuuuper slow as if it’s dying also. It can’t even pull the 4 train carts it comes with. It barely even turns on. In fact, after it tells you how to put the batteries in there are backup instructions that state “if that didn’t work, try this.” Its absolutely ridiculous. Worst purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon by a long shot. Don’t waste your dollars on this one.

We bought this for our 4 year old grandson. He absolutely LOVES it!! It is very sturdy and the only thing to assemble were the tracks.It is noisy with the horn blowing; however we put a piece of packing tape over the area where the sound comes from and it muffled it somewhat.We highly recommend this train for any child; snd it is very affordable!

Thing thing sucks all the way around. Has to be perfectly balanced or it won't go around the track. The sound and lights stopped working after one Christmas. Extremely cheaply made. Avoid
