HIDE A KEY BIRDHOUSE,TAN AND GREEN,6.5"

'Quelle Surprise', more Made in China rubbish! I had to add embedded magnets to the base flap as those installed were poor and not sufficient to keep the flap closed, the screw hooks were junk, loose and not strong enough to even hold a key so of course I removed them and added two proper hooks, and I varnished it because it is RAW WOOD, which is imbecilic as this goes outside exposed to the elements. So by the time I varnished it inside and out, replaced mechanical components and such, I basically reworked this garbage. Buy something better or be prepared to do what I did, otherwise it will ROT, the keys will fall off the hooks and out of the poorly magnetized flap. Bring back Made in America, this crap is an insult to what quality should be. I am fed up with Chinese junk.

I like the birdhouse, however, there should be a board or something seperating the opening to where you put the key. the birds can fly in and make their nest, and your key is in the middle of it. I bill put something black to cover the hole so the birds cant use it, or put a board in it so seperate the key part.

Very cute but on a windy day the bottom has opened and the keys have fallen out. Not a big deal in the summer but if there was snow on the ground, big problem! Magnet doesn't seem to be strong enough so I will have to buy extra to strengthen it which I shouldn't have to do.

I purchased the hide a key birdhouse because I needed my neighbor to go into my house while I was gone. I love the design, but found the hook cheap. I have now purchased new, more substantial hooks. I thought I would put the birdhouse out and soon found it on the ground on a windy day. I'm not sure the magnet that holds the spare key is enough to hold the floor of the birdhouse. Will try and put it outside again.

This was perfect for us! All of the rock hide a keys would look out of place at our house, and I don't want to affix a thermostat to our house since we're renting, so this was an AMAZING option! Love it!

Nice, but there is not a protective coat on it. In addition, the roof is shown as green, but I received a black roof. I am going to paint the roof a different color, paint the body white, and then put an exterior urethane coat on it before I hang it outside.

I think this is the coolest key holder. I agree with one other review that it would be prudent to seal the raw wood. Which I will be doing to preserve the birdhouse. Overall and attractive way to disguise a key. Would recommend.

I really love this cute key hide. Does everything you expect it to do. The only thing that stinks, is on a windy day, the key will fall off the hook inside, so the key will fall out when you open it.
