It smelt strongly of chemicals when it arrived so I put it in the washing machine. I took it out to find that one corner was scrunched up and covered in holes leaving it unusable! Definitely avoid this product.

Its fine BUT the fitted sheet just keeps slidding off it.

This item is roughly 4 inches shorter than the top of the double bed. It is impossible, even with two people pulling, to fit it round the corners, leaving huge rucks which would be impossible to sleep on. It is also very rough cotton, not at all soft. I wasted my money. Next time I shall buy from a reputable seller like Scotts of Stow. I did not cost a lot, so I guess you get what you pay for. A lesson learned

I had hoped that it was possible to pay this low price for the 'premium quality' advertised. It is not.The product is made from cheap, nasty 100% polyester. There is no cotton in it at all and the promised 'microfibre' fabric top just isn't. Bought for an odd sized bed in my daughter's university halls, so did not expect it to fit exactly. The skirt is flimsy , the underside of the quilted part is a hard net-type fabric.Wish I had invested in a decent, cotton cover for her - I hope she is able to use it and sleep properly but it doesn't bode well... Will be interesting to see how long it lasts before it simply falls apart.

Update - I had the cover on inside out, which is why it was slipping around and bunching up. My mistake. Amending my review as a result. Original review below._____I’m used to mattress protectors that fit tight onto the mattress to create a snug fit.This doesn’t work like that - the elastic round the sides is too weak - meaning the protector is baggy and bunches up under my fitted sheet, and I end up sleeping on a lumpy mattress.Shame, because the quality otherwise is ok. But overall it’s not good enough, so will be replacing.

This is a nice quality mattress protector.It's an excellent fit on an IKEA (euro 200 x 160) king size mattress. It also washes well and comes up as good as new.For the price - no complaints from us!

I have just taken this item out of the bag 4/6/21 @ 17.30 to find it had a damn great hole in it. How does something in this state get past a product inspection, its disgraceful and I have a guest arriving in a couple of hours.

I ordered this item, it got delivered, opened it up & has dirty marks on it.This is disgusting & very appauling in terms on cleanliness. How do you sell an item like this without checking, looks used.
