Does what my other brush won't/can't
This is a nice brush for getting I to those hard to reach areas that my big square brush, that I've had for years, can't reach. This one is particularly nice for cleaning the burner tubes. I'll keep my other brush because it is stiffer and has a 2 way scraper to remove burned on foods between the grates but this little brush is definitely a nice addition. The bristles aren't as stiff as those on my main brush so I have no idea how it'll hold up to rough use but I'm glad I bought it and it is definitely worth the money. I'm not a "Felix Unger type" it I want a clean grill and this little brush sure helps with cleanup. There's nothing worse than going to a friend's house for a cook out and seeing a nasty filthy grill that my food is going to be cooked on. That's never going to happen at my house, as my grill ALWAYS looks like it's brand new and this is the first use. This brush just makes that cleanup task easier and I'm glad I spent the $8+ to get it.

A must for cleaning the grates.
I have a brush that is similar to this one that has been the best way to clean the grates on any barbecue I have ever cleaned. This one is superior. The brushes are parallel and will clean two 'tracks' at a time. They are longer and more rigid than the older Y shaped brushes. Structurally, they are solid and allow for a lot of pressure when cleaning a grill. If you have a gas grill that has tubes for the gas, this brush will help to keep the holes clear to allow the gas to flow well.

Too long to easily clean the gas pipe holes in the little Q1200
1I have the little Q1200 Weber grill. This particular brush is OK for cleaning the food grates, but a bit too large for easily cleaning the gas pipe under the grates, because the handle is too long.Under the food grates, the gas-pipe holes are not protected by the flavorizer bars that the bigger Webers have. So the grease and charred materials fall directly on the gas pipe, rapidly clogging the holes so there is no flame. The gas pipe needs to be wire-brushed at least every other use (as the manual says, brush ACROSS the diameter of the pipe, not side-to-side along the length of the pipe). I bought a smaller wire brush specifically for that job.

Works great
Wonderful for cleaning between the grates. Wish I had found it sooner.

A strong brush that should last
A very sturdy brush for the grill. Bristles are strong, the twisted wire is nice and heavy, the handle is big enough. This is not a long handled brush, but it does a great job of getting in between the grill slats and getting all the mess off. Most grill brushes wear out in a season; this one looks like it will last for years.

I like this -- I had another wide/flat brush with a scraper head that I used for a long time. But I finally decided to splurge on myself :). Glad I did, this is a good quality brush. Makes cleaning the grill (including between grates) much easier. I have a Weber grill, with porcelain coated grates.

Still can't get under the cooking grate without removing it.
I got this thinking that I could clean under the bars/grate more easily after each cook. I like to clean right after done cooking while the grill is still hot. Lifting up the grate is difficult when hot. I like to get the underside clean at the same time. This brush does not provide any of those benefits. It may allow for easier cleaning of the gill box as you are taking the grill apart for heavier cleaning, but thats it.
