We originally bought this mattress for my boyfriend's house (grown professional man sleeping on a futon because he didn't know how to mattress shop) so I'd sleep there more often. I've always bought great mattresses from a known nationwide chain and replaced every 5-6 years (was a night nurse for years, had to sleep well during the day). He/ we loved it so much, I was willing to wait for over a year (sleeping on a "quality" mattress that wore out way before it should have) for my size to come back in stock! These mattresses are amazing, not too firm, and don't get too hot. We're now engaged, but I'm happy to know that my smaller bed will be the most comfortable guest bed most people will ever sleep on! I've recommended these to dozens of people! Definitely be patient and wait the full time for expansion (I think I even gave an extra day to be safe), but if I was willing to wait approximately 15 months, what was another few days? Seriously considering buying another to keep in the closet for when our main one finally wears out, but not sure what the compressed closet shelf life would be.

It has been more than 55 hours after opening the mattress and it is not even 8 inches. It is also 2 to 3 inches wider than my bed frame and I can feel my bed frame underneath it. The most horrible bed experience I've ever had. Oh yeah and no lavender smell at all!

It took a long time to ship and when it arrived I immediately took it out of the box. It did not get to 12 inches even after letting it inflate for over 4 days. In fact it was a warped and uncomfortable to sleep on. I Contacted customer service and I have yet to hear a response. Very disappointed. I would like a partial refund at least. But I’m just out $300.

Purchased last weekend and arrived by 6AM Tuesday and opened to expand in place at 7:30AM on the same day (7/28). The mattress didn't instantly expand upon opening, but about an hour later was 3 or 4 inches tall. Next morning maybe 6 inches in height and it reached it's maximum yesterday morning of about 8 or 9 inches tall -- depending on where you measure. The top layer seems soft and comfortable, but the underlayers are a lumpy mess. Do I actually have to return this?Now I'm trying to determine my options as a return/refund apparently requires sending it back....

Very disappointed with this mattress. I set it up according to the instructions a week ago and to date it has expanded to only 7 inches although I ordered, paid for and the shipping box all indicated a 12 inch mattress. It may be returnable but that’s hard when it won’t go back in the box!Ok, two months later and still only 7 inches tall and very very firm. It’s more than disappointing and frustrating! My sheets don’t fit right, the bottom fitted bunches and gathers under me, very uncomfortable.

This shipped quickly and was the right price. Unboxing was a snap, took a couple days for full, uh, inflation, is that the right word? I needed to use it immediately, so the corners were mooshed by the fitted sheet and took a little longer, but I got the full 12 inches. This mattress is soft but quite firm. I paired it with a super plush mattress cover and it's been extremely comfortable. Definitely recommend.

been out of box for 72+ hours and still looks days away from being able to sleep on so everything is a 1 rating right now as we cannot use it still. Will update if it ever becomes usable.UPDATE: February 5th - it has been TWO WEEKS since I unpacked this mattress and it never got up to 10 inches (corners are even lower). Takes DAYS for customer service to answer their emails. I received a preplacement mattress last night, but this one looks worse than the first one did.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS MATTRESS.

I ordered this mattress in a queen and a king for our guest rooms. The king is very comfortable. The queen never fully expanded even after letting it expand OVER the allotted time recommended. I tried to go through and send a message regarding this, but the only option was to ask for a return or refund and send the mattress back - which I can't do. For the price, its just not worth it as the one end of the mattress has a large "dent" expanding across the bottom.
