and I like how basic it is
I does what it is designed to, and I like how basic it is. It fits perfectly on my desk which has limited space.

I think the ISKN was a better fit.
It's alright. For my purposes (digital drawing and design), I think the ISKN was a better fit.

Made cheap
Sent it back. It is made cheap and wasn't packaged well at all. I ordered a different one that cost less and it was so much better.

Recommend this one over competition of same size tablets!
Pros:Decent size for the actual pen areaMenu buttons on pen surface are extremely helpful and save keystrokesFairly easy to figure out default settings in PhotoshopDriver setup was easyUSB cable is plenty longPen has a very good sensitivity resolution and pressure sensitivityAdobe programs picked the tablet up right after connecting itCons:Fabric pen holder feels like it wont last long after repeated usePen is not rechargeable and requires AAA batteriesScroller wheel can be finicky in Photoshop some times with the eraser functionPopup icon indicators are huge and would prefer if they were taskbar icons insteadUSB Cable plugs into the left side instead of the top. Makes right handed desk setups difficult on small desks with full size keyboards*Monoprice sent me this graphics tablet for free in exchange for a non-biased review*The tablet comes well packaged and should make it through most shipping incidents. When you open the box you are presented with a decently long Micro USB cable, the 8x11 tablet, a drawing pen with extra tips, and a driver CD (I advise getting the drivers from the website as they are the most up-to-date). The drivers were quick to install and the tablet was recognized by Photoshop and illustrator as soon as they were plugged in. The box said that the pen came with batteries, but as a review unit I did not receive them. Rest assured a consumer shipped package WILL have batteries for the pen! Having a 5080 LPI resolution and 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity makes using brushes in Photoshop precise. Multi monitor support also works great in Windows when you have all of your Photoshop tools on one monitor and your canvas on another. Quick macros on the pen surface are easily adjustable and most of my software(Adobe, Paint.NET, etc.) can see the top "toolbar" section of macros without changing any settings. This is a robust tablet and I would recommend this to anyone one over any competitor tablet of the same size.Tested in: Adobe Masters Collection CS6, and Paint.NET.Tested on: Dell Latitude E6410, and a Core i7 4790k desktop PC with multiple monitors.

A solid tablet for beginners and professionals alike
This review is based off of a Monoprice-Provided unit.General OverviewThis tablet simply works at an affordable price. Similar to other Monoprice tablets, the design exchanges the mild inconvenience of replacing a battery pen after several months of use for superior pressure sensitivity. Compared to the popular but expensive choice, you exchange same some conveniences for a significantly lowered price point.DriversI installed drivers multiple times, both from the included driver disk and Monoprice’s site download, and can confirm that it works on Windows 10 x64 without any device manager gymnastics. Just install it, reset your computer and it worked. (Installing drivers with Run as Administrator usually helps issues, even if your UAC is disabled.)This device is best suited for programs with internal pressure controls, such as Manga Studio 5. The pressure sensitivity setting changes how much pressure is required before the pen makes an active mark rather than changing the pressure for the entire curve.PenThe included pen is standard fare. I’ve dropped, shaken and otherwise abused the pen without it breaking. While it may not be indestructible, it is not especially vulnerable to abuse. The battery holder is a little shaky inside, but the pen simply hasn’t broken yet.Compared to the popular brand, the pen technology lacks an eraser at the end, tilt control and battery-less functionality. None of these features are necessary for a serious art workflow, and while they are missed, the absence of these is not worth the additional cost.SurfaceThe surface feel has a slight grip, preventing the stylus from being too slippery. The pen nibs show visible wear after about a week of hard use, but the wear has not affected drawing ability as of a month of constant usage. If the wear is an issue, replacement nibs are less than a buck for a pack of tenQuick Select WheelThe quick select wheel is one of the better implementations of the tablet interface. It is tactile and slightly ‘clicky’, making it easier to adjust to than the bigger tablet brands’ software touch pad style ring. Which generally feels unintuitive due to a lack of physical response. To prevent over sensitivity, the wheel responds every two clicks. I find it extremely useful for controlling brush size or zooming in.Bottom Line+ Inexpensive+ Great pressure sensitivity+ Quick Select Wheel is easily adapted to- Lacks Pen Features
