Pictures don't do these pliers justice. They simply disappear in my pocket. Moreover the range of adjustment is amazing. Obviously they aren't going to allow you to exert much torque, but for an always with you emergency (as in any time you don't have your regular tools) wrench to loosen the occasional nut or do other plier duty, these are tough to beat. I bought the cheap Crescent minis, and while adequate and a bargain, they don't compare. It's also nice to get something that isn't made in China. I may invest in one of those cheap plastic sheaths to keep them from opening up in my pocket, but they ride pretty well as is. Love the quality.

Honestly, you may think these are novelty item due to their compact size. I love them and cannot say enough good things about these pliers. Very well crafted and sturdy. I bought these on a whim and these grippy little pliers have quickly become the most used item that I carry daily. They are extremely versatile for all kinds of small (and some surprisingly large) tasks that you run into everyday. I work in an industrial environment and those bolts, screws and door switches that are just aggravatingly a little bit more than finger tight don't stand a chance against these mini pliers. They open and adjust easily, and like all Knipex tools grab on like crazy when you bear down. I highly recommend these, you won't regret it. They punch well above their weight.

As described high quality and very compact. Much better than the needle nose style in multi tools. Fits ok in my multi tool pouch with the multi tool as it's very slim yet seems strong enough to handle considerable grip strength.
