Classic 6 Game Collection

This board game set is most certainly a "value item", in that it gives more for less. The craftsmanship is not particularly arousing, but for the money it is acceptable. The games included are all complete and lots of fun can be had here.

This board game is one of my favorites from childhood. I like having it on hand. It gives us something to do on a rainy weekend or when we are just ready to have family night great game to play.

The set is very cheaply made and because of that I don't think it is giftable. It's light, that's true but flimsy. It will not last long unless you are very careful with it.

The worst thing I have ever purchased on Amazon. Hands down. So cheap you cannot even play any of the games. The "boards" are actual printer paper and the cheap plastic pieces don't even fit where they are supposed to in order to even be remotely useful. You cannot play any of the games and not to mention the jagged plastic edges, that are 100% not safe for children.Do not buy this product. You will hate yourself for wasting the money. I have bought some shady trash in my life and I have wasted more money on junk than any person reasonably should.....this is absolutely the biggest waste of money ever in my life.

This is a low quality version of what it promises to be. To be fair, it was under ten dollars, so I don't know that I should have expected more - but Pressman used to be a good brand. Not sure what they're doing putting their name on this sort of product.The boards are made of poster board, not the thick material you'd expect from a board game, and they're not folded; the size of the box is the size of the playing board, so they're just too small. The checkers pieces seem too big for the board, the Snakes and Ladders boxes are just tiny.The checkers don't stack nicely.Haven't opened all the pieces bags yet, but they look usable but not deluxe.The directions are a bit confused as well - the directions for checkers talks about rolling the dice at one point. Not sure what's going on there!As a set to occasionally play some classic games, or to keep at a vacation home or rental cabin, sure, this is good - but I'd be embarrassed to give it to someone as a gift. Not good for younger or careless people, because the boards do seem pretty delicate.I mostly bought it because I wanted some checkers - we've been playing "checkers" with chess pieces - and if nothing else the checkers can be used with the chess board we already have.Rating "value for money" at 4 because I feel like we got what we paid for."Easy to learn" at 3 because of the directions being really poor."Giftable" at 1 because I would be so embarassed to give such a cheap looking game to someone.Overall, 3 stars.

My grandkids are having fun with all the games in this box.
