React Sidekick Personal Panic Button

It seemed to work fine, however it also needed the bluetooth connection reset frequently.(For me this seems to be a flaw in bluetooth, EVERY bluetooth device I've ever owned had unreliable connections).Unfortunately resetting the connection wasa) too complicated for my octogenarian motherandb) the button that she needed to press was far too small and hard to press for arthritic fingers.We had to buy something else (V.LRT has been working so far, but that uses batteries like mad.)

It actually works.If you go walking or working alone, this may be the answer. This is a very cheap replication of an industrial unit I have. They both use the same software: "Im Fine"; "Follow Me"; "SOS, Help Me". The setup was easy and the tracking matches my Fitbit Surge so I assume it is accurate too.If something happens to you, at least they will know where to find the body.It is price = function appropriate.

We have had this device for awhile and have had limited success. I have tried it on different IOS devices and still have issues. At first when setting up, works great. However when IOS device goes a sleep for a while or you are runnig several apps, you loose Blue Tooth connection. This happens quite often. I should have told the company a long time ago but I procasanated too long.

While the app is great, the sidekick for it, not so great. As stated in previous reviews, a four hour run time is not sufficient. It would be much better if it were rechargeable so you could leave it on all the time, even while charging. My particular unit paired with the cell phone on the first try, but then would not pair again. Returned it and got a refund very quickly.

It works, but it is a little frustrating. The app eats battery like crazy since it keeps the GPS on. I wanted to use it as a simple panic button and did not need the location function, but it will not work without the GPS on. Also the button shuts itself off after a while, which is puzzling.

Just what I needed for my Mother. I have a cell phone for her, but sometimes she has trouble using it. This gives her a panic button the is easily used. App worked perfectly.

i have an iphone and it works fine; it was a bit slow to send the alert to my contact number when the SOS was sent. but the big issue that is NOT mentioned anywhere, is that it TURNS OFF automatically after 4 hours. os if someone has to use it (kid at school, sleeping senior) and they forget to check it, they are out of luck. no message, no alert, nada. soi sent it back.

I bought this device to test it out for my company on my Droid Turbo 2. I drive alot and used it while driving through the city and in the suburbs. When it works it's awesome and my wife could actually tell me what building I was in. The fob is a great size and it works well on a Keychain.Now the bad part... The companion app crashes ALL the time. And it's random which makes it worse. The only way I found I could keep a consistent connection was if I open the app, paired the fob and left the app open on top of everything else on the phone which isn't practical for a smartphone. I'm trying to use my smartphone for business and that just won't work. Some other minor gripes are that the app doesn't keep an icon in the notifications bar to tell you that the fob is connected. The only time a notification appears is when you go to panic mode. Translated with the unreliability of the connection you have to constantly reopen the app to see if the fob is paired. Also, the fob will not show up under your Bluetooth connections even while paired. One other note the app defaults to automatically calling 911 if you don't turn your panic device off panic mode within 10 seconds so make sure you uncheck that box under settings. I never tested that part of the fob since it was so unreliable.This device would be a home run if they fixed the app. A panic device needs to work 100 percent of the time outside of user error.
