Why did you pick this product vs others?:I normally don’t like the taste of beef protein but I was struggling to find one that was as quality as the Equip Prime Protein powder. I just couldn’t stand the taste so I’ve been searching for a different brand for a long time and decided to give this one a try. I am so relieved to say that the beefy flavor is way less noticeable with this brand! It’s also just as quality, more protein per serving, and also more affordable than my old one. I’m so excited I finally found one I can enjoy. Like all beef proteins it does clump but that can be fixed by blending or frothing, vs shaking in a shaker bottle.

I've been trying a lot of proteins and there's always something about each of them that I just "deal with." I love that this one has 30 big servings so that's a good value especially for the quality of the protein ingredient! Grass fed and grass finished, single ingredient is awesome. Grass fed animals are leaner, contain more Omega-3s, and have more antioxidants. I use the unflavord in my coffee and I don't notice a taste of the protein, but it gives the coffee a milky, deeper flavor that I enjoy. I use a frother to mix in some MCT oil, collagen peptides, a tsp of sugar and this protein and it mixes well. I mix all of that into a little bit of water in ny cup prior to adding the hot coffee. Anyway, there is a thick foam on top of my coffee when I use this protein, and I don't mind it! It has no flavor and makes it seem fancy lol. I haven't tried the protein in anything else, but i bought it specifically for my morning coffee. I have no issues with my stomach after using this (no stevia, dairy, fake sweeteners, gums, or weird stuff we dont understand). I find the product very effective! A slight con: I do wish the amino acid profile was listed on the bag. But it won't stop me from ordering again. Think I'll put this one on SnS.

It doesn’t mix with water? So you end up with chunks like wet peanut butter floating in gelatinous soup. The “vanilla” flavor kind of reminds me of chocolate, but with broth up front. The aftertaste is metallic. 5 minutes after I opened it, I wish I could have my money back. Is this product a prank? How could someone sell this to innocent people? It’s inhumane.UPDATE: I just learned from this company that this is not AT ALL a “beef” protein product. It’s just collagen / bone broth protein, so this is false advertising and you are probably entitled to a refund if it was sold to you as “beef”. Here is their response to my question about the source:“This protein powder is not derived from dehydrated meat that is then ground into a fine powder. Our unique grass-fed beef protein isolate is derived from the extracted protein and amino acids from the fleshy bones, tendons, and joints of hormone- and antibiotic-free animals. *** update: customer service is top notch. They reached out after reading my review.Original review: I had really high hopes for this protein powder. I loved that it was clean- just 3 ingredients. But it does mix well… even in the blender. The taste isn’t great on its own but I blend it with dates, bananas and almond butter and then it tastes pretty good. I think it’s too expensive for what it is. If it were $30 or $40 I’d maybe buy it again but $60? Too much.

Ive tried so many proteins to support my training and recently because I’ve had GI issues things have become even more confining and I was beginning to lose hope. Honestly this is a fantastic product. I can’t speak to the source of the ingredients but I can tell you this is the only protein on the market that doesn’t have fillers, sugar and allergens, is made of beef isolate (which is hands down better for muscle repair and growth) and didn’t cause a flare up. I have had zero issues getting this to mix even without a blender… I was nervous about the unflavored variety but they were out of stock on chocolate and honestly I’m so glad because now I put it in everything. Pancakes, overnight cream of buckwheat. I add LMNT chocolate cinnamon and a little vanilla extract to my smoothie and it is delicious. Highly recommend for people with GO troubles looking to maintain their gains
