Spring Cactus (Surprise Colors) - 4" from California Tropicals

Pleasantly surprised!! AWESOME healthy cactus plant! very well packaged. Shipped from California to Florida in perfect shape! Keeping California Topicals in my favorite orders list! Thank you! Was a gift for a friend. Cant wait to see the blooms!

Full and lots of buds; even one flower opened. It was packaged well. So far it's ok but there was no markings on the outside saying live or this end up or anything so my USPS person left it in the mailbox and it was well below freezing all night ... even snowed. So, I'm concerned about it. If it makes it through the next week without going downhill then I think everything will be ok. If the box had been labeled live plant my post person would have certainly brought it to me instead of leaving in the mailbox. So, one star off for price and not marking box. I'll update later if it lives. I got the white one. Update Dec 8... it lived! I can't believe it but it looks great; never wilted. Whew...close call.

I was hesitant to order because of the obvious. A live plant through the mail! I am happy that I took the chance. Packaged very securely in a small box was the most beautiful spring cactus. The quality is amazing, the soil was moist. I believe value for money is top notch. UPDATE included a picture. It's so beautiful ❤️

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and/or health of this cactus. The plant actually had several blooms on it and had glossy, green leaves . The size was quite impressive and full. Amazing, really!!!!!

I was hesitant to order a plant on Amazon, especially from CA to NY in March. I ordered the spring/easter cactus. It came in a week. Overall it was packaged well, it looked healthy and was a good size with buds starting. I inspected it further and believe it has a very beginning stage of scale. This was very minor I found about 10 scale bugs. One branch had some decent damage so I cut that branch off. I treated with a system as I do all my new plants and think it will be ok. Update: Dec 2025 and plant looks great. It’s grown so much and has flowered a couple of times. No bugs in sight

I have to knock two star off. The plants are excellent, but the packing, though protecting the plants, is the worst plastic mess I have seen in a long time. Plastic Peanuts (I thought they were banned years ago) tapped to the box with plastic tape. Then siran wrap covering the plastic pot (for what reason, to control the water?). Plastic fantastic. More plastic waste going to the dump, into air, into the water.

This came in a small plastic cup. When I removed from container the leaves fell off the root. Now all the leaves are mushy and I don't think I can safe it. I put a few in another pot but they when mushy as well.
