I’m thrilled I chose the Timber Ridge chair! With a 500-pound weight capacity, it’s perfect for taller folks like me—I'm 6’1” and weigh 269 pounds—and I find it super comfortable. At first, I thought it might be too big, but it turns out to be just right. I can even roll onto my side and get cozy if I feel like it! The fabric quality is fantastic, too—definitely way better than those cheaper “zero gravity” chairs. I put “zero gravity” in quotes because some don’t recline to 170°, which is essential for experiencing the actual zero-gravity experience, where your legs are elevated above your heart.As for weight, it’s around 20 pounds, so it’s not the most portable chair out there. I wouldn’t want to carry it to the beach, but it’s fantastic for lounging on the balcony or backyard! Plus, it comes fully assembled—unfold it, and you’re ready to relax. It looks great, too!

The TIMBER RIDGE Oversized Gravity Lounger turned out to be a gem—and two years later, it still is! I’ve now purchased a second one because the first held up so well.Long-Term Durability:After two years of regular use, the original chair is in near-perfect condition. There’s just some very minor surface rust forming near a couple of the welds, which I consider totally reasonable given its age. That said, I’ve always been careful: I store the chair indoors if rain is in the forecast and keep it protected with a super thick and durable cover (ASIN: B07K7KK1LC). That extra layer of care has really paid off.Comfort and Space:The chair offers plenty of room to stretch out, and the recline angle is incredibly comfortable. The locking mechanism makes adjustments smooth and secure. I’ve actually fallen asleep in it more than once—it’s that relaxing.Build Quality:It’s solid, stable, and well-built. While it reclines up to about 160 degrees—not a full "Zero Gravity" range (typically 170–180 degrees)—the angle is more than sufficient for true comfort.Ease of Use:Setup is quick and simple, and the chair folds down compactly for storage. This chair is awesome! I have been using this type of chair for several years as a bed when I travel. I even use it in hotels because of back problems. I finally wore out my beloved Bass Pro version and found this one on Amazon. I am NOT a small human. Just under 6 feet and 330 lbs. This chair feels very sturdy and secure and is extremely comfortable.I read several comments about it being very heavy. While it is not lightweight, it is no heavier than my other big man zero gravity chair so for me it is not an issue. I will take it camping and on any overnight trip.It operates smoothly, the locking mechanism works perfectly and the padding is just right for me.As time goes on I will update this review if there are any failures or problems.I hope this review is helpful. Now excuse me while I grab a nice nap in my new chair 😊.
