I recently purchased an Alienware M18 and I had no idea there would be so few options for a bag for it. I bought 2 others before this one, both claiming to fit an 18" laptop but they did NOT. As much as I paid for this computer, I wanted a bag that would offer some decent protection and this bag is great. It's fits my 18" laptop with plenty of room to spare. There are a ton of pouches and pockets as well. I can fit my laptop, the HUGE brick of a battery it requires as well as plenty of books and other things. The straps and stitching seem very well done which is important for all the weight in the bag. It's just plain black which I'd usually consider just a bit boring but considering I'm carrying around over 3k worth of laptop, the less attention it gets the better.

Arrived in good shape, appears to be a very fine product. It’s just the size I was looking for and has lots of large, convenient compartments.

I'm an attorney who regularly travels between the office and the courthouse, my town and the city where I'm originally from, etc. I needed something that could handle my work laptop plus my personal Surface plus my notebooks and papers. This bag fits the bill and has so many pockets, plus mesh pockets inside the other pockets that can hold earbuds, glasses, flash drives, everything you need.I like that the shoulder strap is removable and the clips are metal (another bag I bought on here had plastic clips that snapped on me). I love this bag so much. It looks nice and seems to be durable. I say "seems to be" because I haven't had it that long. This is a stand-in for a higher quality bag I've bought elsewhere, but it seems like it will last. I can even store my Yeti and my folded Pack-It in this thing without issue or adding a ton of weight. This thing is fabulous. I love it, but we will see how long the stitches last. I don't overpack it, but I do put a fair amount of things in my bag... we'll see how the stitching holds up, I suppose. Hopefully my real replacement gets here before the stitching fails (if it does). For now, I love this thing and recommend it at the least as a stand-in.

Having used this briefcase for two years, I can attest to its practicality. As a teacher, I often carry many items, as you can see from the pictures: (a 15-inch laptop - notebook - folder - pencil bag - mini projector - sometimes papers - cables...).This briefcase is impressively spacious, easily accommodating a multitude of items. While it may be on the heavier side (I carry lots of things), its companion, the shoulder strap, is of decent quality.One downside is that if you look at the picture, you can see that the briefcase started disintegrating for some reason. Other than that, I quit liking it.Note: I am using the 17.ch, but my laptop is 15 inches.

Perfect size for my laptop with extra space for folders. Has outer zip compartment suitable for pens, phone, etc.

The handle on my old bag (pleather) finally broke. Got this as a replacement. I like that it's quite lightweight, has many zippers and pockets, is expandable, and has a padded section closer to the middle to protect my laptop. Has enough room to slip my purse in (assuming I leave one section open) when I'm boarding the plane so as to meet the airlines' "2 articles only" requirements on those occasions when I also have a carryon suitcase.

This is the best padded bag for carrying a laptop computer for travel, business and school I've ever owned. This well made (yes, still made in China) and expandable water-resistant polyester cloth bag also affords plenty of room for additional accessories like an AC power charger/adapter, mouse, external CD/DVD player, headphones, and tablet, as well as pens, folders, small binders, work and reference documents, etc. My 17" laptop easily fits inside the computer compartment. There are an abundance of compartments and pockets inside and out. You could even carry a few essential clothing items in the expanded section to have if your checked luggage is lost during your flight. The bag has sturdy lockable metal zippers (using a small lock that you must provide), includes an adjustable "padded" shoulder carrying strap, and is available in several colors. The sealed EVA foam padding is approximately a half inch thick and provides protection to the back of the bag and Velcroed computer compartment as shown in the listing.The only two very minor issues I have are: None of the interior pockets have zippers or Velcro flaps, so it is possible that smaller items like small portable external hard drives and thumb drives could come out of the pockets and get lost inside the bag or fall out of the bag during use, and the carry handles cannot be "strapped" together for ease of carrying and additional strength. There is a small zippered front pocket that could be used to carry external drives and other small items, but this pocket isn't padded for protection. Even with the minor issues, I highly recommend this bag for travel or carry on use and have ordered another for the wife! The quality and price of this bag blow the others out of the water!
