YONICO V Groove Flat Bottom Router Bit 45 Degree 1/2-Inch Shank 13921

I used this bit on my Shapeoko 4 XL for probably 100 hours, before it started to show signed of needing to be sharpened or replaced. I bought this with low expectations of getting much use with my CNC machine, but I've been very surprised at how long it's lasted.

Man was I happy to find this bit. I bought it to use in a jack miter router jig that I discovered from a Gary Katz video. Worked marvelously for that purpose. If you’re doing cabinet grade quirk and bead jack miters you should buy this and make the jig.

It was nice to have a sharp bit right out of the package. Using to make stacked text signs, and it has worked well in this application.

I recently purchased the 60 degree router bit with high hopes for my CNC v-carving projects. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been nothing short of a complete fail. It not only failed to meet the advertised specifications but also fell short of the expectations set by the listing picture.First and foremost, the tip of the router bit is nowhere near the advertised 1/32" size. In fact, it is about three times wider than stated, which completely ruins any crisp corners I was aiming to achieve in my v-carve or flat bottom work. The inaccurate tip size throws off the precision and detail I was hoping to achieve, making the final results look sloppy and unprofessional.Furthermore, the cutter itself is not particularly sharp. It struggles to make clean cuts, resulting in edges with a poor finish.Considering the misleading product description, inaccurate tip size, and subpar sharpness, I strongly advise against purchasing this router bit. It simply does not deliver on its promises and falls short in every aspect. Save yourself the disappointment and look for a more reliable and accurately described option for your CNC v-carving needs. The only good thing about it is that it doesn’t burn the cut.Do not buy.

Ordered one, no flat bottom. Figured it was a mistake and requested a replacement. Replacement (pictured) is the same thing - full point, no flat bottom. Returning and will try to find something from a reputable brand…Bits and Bits, Freud, Amana are much more expensive but I would have gladly paid more upfront to not lose a full week on this project.
