Robust, Low Profile Tool Rest, 12" Wide, Long Post

I couldn't find a 12" (or 4" for that matter) tool rest made by Laguna.If you use carbide tools, because of the banjo dimensions on the Revo 12/16 you'll need to use Robust's low profile tool rests. The 'comfort' tool rests are too tall to be used with the EWT carbide tools. However, the low profile rests work perfectly.The top of the tool rest is durable with no dings - so far.

I ordered this thinking it was for my mini lathe. It's actually for a full size lathe. Doesn't fit, but im sure it's a great tool rest.

Just what I was looking for. Fits my Laguna 1216 and gives me the extra length to do more spindle work without moving the tool rest all the time.

great for longer spindle work as well as being able to reach around bowla when turning.

I really like Robust Tool Rests and have 3 others I use on my Laguna lathe. Bought this one and post was larger in diameter the others. Contacted vendor and he never got back to me when he said he would. Returned and bought one directly from Robust and worked perfect.

I ordered the wrong post size and had to send it back. Robust is a good product but 5/8 post wasn’t available.

This is by far the best rest I have ever used. Smooth and durable.
