To this point I have no complaints. Minimally used. Waiting to use on an extended basis to see battery life, quality and reliability. I will be updating after use trying to comment on helpful points.

Feels like a toy
If you are expecting a chunky nice in the hand feeling camcorder like our parents had, you will be very disappointed. This camcorder is easy to use, powers on and off when opening the screen, and takes okay video. Playing back the videos, the sound quality isn’t great in camera, anxious to see what it looks like on the computer. The camcorder is very plasticky feeling, very lightweight (a pro) but also feels super cheap quality and like it could break very very easily. It’s not a bad little camcorder for the price, but expect the quality to match the cost. $50 and it feels like a $50 toy.

13 min. 23 sec. video cut-off time
I purchases this camera for making online videos. I made a mistake! The camera looks good out of box. it looks like a good design other than being able to operate it. The Owners Manual is poor at best. Gives no instruction on actual operations. It does tell you the names of each button and functionality. It does NOT give step by step instructions how to go from one viewing menu screen to another. It does NOT tell you how to make videos last for more that 13 minutes 23 seconds. The camera does NOT indicate that your video has maxed out and has started A NEW VIDEO in the middle of filming! gives no instructional video for use. Seller/designer/manufacturer should assume purchaser IS NOT FAMILIAR WITH THEIR PRODUCT before selling it. The manual is very small, points out button names and very basic functions using jargon that the non-film-pro may or may not understand. The manual itself fits in one hand, about as thick as a napkin, is 18 pages, black & white pictures to describe color screens. pictures are dark and unreadable. What they should have provided was a step by step instruction for set-up and actual applications for making a video and for photos. I have not been able to figure out the photo setting, so I don't know if that works or not. The videos that I have made are clear. The mic does not pick up unless you are within 3 or 4 feet of the camera. So, if you are good with 13 minute films, you will need to buy a microphone with the appropriate attachment. Amazon does sell them. I wish I bought a different camera. Its just really difficult to use because of these circumstance. I have no idea how to properly operate or adjust the films. I cannot find a source for instructions online. YouTube was also no help.

I don't like that it didnt come with an SD card or a way to charge the batteries or instructions.
3*Because it didn't come with an SD card. I don't think much of companies that do that. At lease include a small one. It doesn't have instruction, just a very small print booklet naming the buttons. I had a SD card but it wouldn't stay it. So I had to order a SD card and had to wait a week or so to get it. I'm not happy about that. I had to try to figure out how to use the camera and the video. I don't know what they mean by formate the card. but somehow I seem to have done it. I think. So far I accidentally figured out how to record and take pics and play them back. But I don't know how the 2 batteries are meant to be charges as they don't mention that in the booklet no more than they mention anything else on how it's meant to work. I've never use a camcorder video before so it was a case of press this or that and see what happens. So far I have a few lovely sunset pics stills. Video doesn't look the best but I haven't even tried to connect it to my computer yet. I hope I can figure that out. There again there aren't any instructions. So be warned it's not meant for beginners. So I can't give it a 5* rating. Maybe over time if I can figure out how it works. But after reading the 1* review I hope I don't run into the problems they have. On items like these we should be given longer to really test them out, especially when there are no instruction given. Good luck. Update cant figure out how to remove the battery as it doesn't stay charges long. No instruction no tech help. This is not a camera for beginners.
