Handy storage container.
I did order this and though it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for I did keep it. I wanted something to hold all my thread spools standing up. Most of them do stand up in it but as you probably know not all spools are the same size. So the larger ones lay down. You can also adjust the size of each compartment. All in all it’s a great storage container.

Un peu trop petit
pour nous un coffre un peu plus gros aurait été parfait

I had high hopes for this case. I've recently began a total "home edit" and all my organizing kicked off in my craft room that has now become my toddler daughter's room. My smaller supplies (mostly beads and sewing notions such as buttons) were originally kept in basic divided organizers which worked well enough but weren't all the same size so I had a difficult time stacking and storing them. I decided on this case after looking at A LOT of different solutions, mostly because its four tiers were better than three or less and any more just seemed like a disaster waiting to happen. I was planning on ordering a second case to house all of my beads and to use the first for everything else. I was ecstatic when it arrived. Out of the box it appeared to be everything I needed even though the plastic did seem a little flimsy and thin and was not as clear/sheer as the product photo led me to believe (it appears transparent like acrylic in the photos but in person it's just translucent). Not a big deal. That is until I opened the case itself in order to begin filling the compartments. Immediately a piece of one of the tiers broke off. Not a deal breaker at the time and thankfully it didn't affect function, but it was disappointing for something I literally had in my possession for less than ten minutes. I started sorting my various types of beads and filled several compartments before realizing that the gaps at the bottom of each were big enough to allow certain types (namely seed beads) to seep into one another and defeating my purpose of "sorting". This was quite upsetting to see after spending so much time just separating the different varieties I have, but I tried to stay positive and went the extra mile to put them in bags in order to solve this problem. Then came time to stack the tiers and close the side tabs. At first it was actually a bit hard to get some of the tiers opened and closed. But with what I read on other reviews about them not staying closed, I figured it was better to struggle with a snug fitting tab than a loose one because God forbid this thing come apart on me full of supplies. Unfortunately they didn't stay that way for very long. After a few times of getting this opened and closed, many of the tabs loosened up and had issues with staying shut. I picked up the entire unit to move a couple of times and it came apart. The only solution I see to solve this is to wrap a bungie cord around it like another reviewer did and that is simply not an option for me with how I store this case. Needless to say, I won't be buying a second case and am rethinking how I can reorganize it so that I don't end up having any accidents with it in the future (thankfully I managed to mitigate the few I've had so far to just "near misses"). This case obviously can't handle very much weight, so if you're trying to organize lightweight plastic beads, buttons, snaps, D- or O-rings, styrofoam balls, feathers, etc. this is great for that. Otherwise, keep looking for something else!
