Elite Hockey Pro-Skate Guard

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Just started skating and learning to play hockey last month. When I bought new skates, they didn’t suggest any covers, I found these on amazon and ordered. Now I dry my skates well with a towel and slip these over them before putting in my bag. Snug fit, they feel well made too. So far I’m happy with them, I have not tried to walk with them on, but the way they are designed, I think they will be just fine. I’d recommend these if you need a good cover for your blade! Careful when putting on not to slip and cut yourself by accident.

For some reason this color was sold out at other retailers. Product is great. Use it for my toddler’s skates. He’s able to safely walk around on the arena floors before getting on the ice. Item is well made.

Perfect, exactly what I needed

It said they fit a 5 but they were to small for my son's size 5 skates. However, they seemed very nice and durable and were exactly what I was looking for.. I would have kept them if they would have fit. Return was hasselless as well.

These are heavy duty and cradle the blade of your skates so well. Even have rubberized bottoms so you can walk in them, if needed.

They run small, I have Bauer skates size 10 and I got the XL and they are a perfect fit. I originally bought L and they fit but way too snug even though it says up to size 6-10. Thus, if you are size 12-13 I would get the XXl, etc. Size up if your size is on the higher end of the suggested sizing. These are great that's why they are a little more expensive than the other options on Amazon, but it it worth the great quality.

Hands down the best skate guards in the industry. No need to go to any others, I love it!

My son has been using these for a while, and for the most part they are great. For those who have complained about quality in reviews, I agree, the quality has gone down since the last time I purchased these, but they are essentially a consumable anyway. The last pair my son has lasted about a year, I will be very happy if these last the same. There is a definite degradation in quality between his last set and the new set I ordered. Despite this, they are still a good value for what they do: act as soakers to protect the blades when wet and allow my son to walk short distances in skates and not damage the blades. I will likely continue to buy these for my son as long he plays hockey, probably going through a pair a year.
